Eyes barely took the attention to look at him. At first it didnt seem he had the intentions of answering Diligo. Finally though, he gave a bow that did not nearly show respect one should. Evol continued to kep as much istance between herself and the boy, wings twitching slighlty. He actually seemed her total opposite, despite his next words.

"Why Evol, have you gone as far to lose manners that you no longer will introduce your own twin brother?" He asked, voice a quiet hiss. Evol flinched and shook her head. "I figured you'd do it yourself. Diligo, may I introduce my twin brother Seth Letney." She didnt smile or seem happy at all as she spoke, but at least she had finally stopped moving away from him.

"I o not try and sneak in the shadows. Its hard to announce oneself when silene is part of shadows. Now now sister, there no need for That." The apologetic tone of his voice was lost to all. When Diligo thought of fear spreading like a wildfire, he was close to what happen around Evol. The flames of the candles had gotten larger and her arms were literally engulfed by the flames, and it was just starting.

Suddenly, the young boy stood up, faster than before. Sparks flying through his body, he thrusted his knife at the angel in front of him.
He was blown back instantly.

"You're only alive" The archangel said cynically "Because I have been healing you. You'd be dead long before now if this was a real fight. Now surrender!"

"I won't... You- you're strong, but there's always a chance I can win, and I won't let my luck go to waste."

"But in the scheme of things, what is luck but an excuse for the weak of mind? Think, you foolish child, or you will die, lucky or not."

Diligo stood in front of Evol, putting himself between her and Seth. He couldn't afford to talk, or he'd give himself away. This opponent, the fear was real. He couldn't allow conflict now, not without a plan of sorts. Nothing comes of hate but death. But would Evol recognize it, or only anger more?

The demigod took his chances. Allowing his blades to rotate freely, they tore into the ground, causing mass noise and mass light. He used this to his advantage, even a second of shock, how would Seth react?

Evol clapped flame covered hands over her ears at the sound. Seth did less than flinch, smiling as he saw her reaction. He didnt move any farther forward though, the shadows behind him flickering unnaturally. Voice came forth once the sound had stopped, and it wasnt a pleasent sound at all, even for someone as human as any of them.

"Why must you interfere with humans affairs? Do you have some love for vampires? Do you think she'll change you if you ask nicely enough? " Voice was a sneer as he looked at his sister. He continued. "A mistake such as she shouldnt be allowe to lcontinue living, contaminating those around it." It was easy to tell who he was refering to.

Wings took her to the ceiling but he was quickly brought down to the ground as the shadows rose eagerly to meet her. Flames flickered and shrunk as feet were once again on the ground. "You've no right to say that Seth. I dont think it's even you who speaks now. Its the darkness. Its always been the darkness." She said, voice just barely higher than a whisper.

Seth's laughter echoed, cruel and unkind. "The darkness controlling me? Is that what yu try and say? No sister, the shadows didnt make you what you are. At least not the darkness I use." He watched her flinch and smirk widened, and he took another few steps towards them. A click sounded as he loosened the blade at his side.

No reaction at all... This is going to be more difficult than I had hoped.

Seeing his time run short, Diligo, only half turning, reached to grab Evol's arm or hand or whatever was in reach. His goal was to support; if these shadows could move the physical, he wouldn't allow them to. The Serephim blood in the young Diligo was roaring, all fear having left the demigod. He was now prepared, and his eyes seemed to glow a more vibrant green than ever.

"I'm sorry, sir, but "what she is" is none of your concern, blood related as you might be. Perhaps you should figure out "What you are" first, no?" Diligo said with surprising clarity. He spoke calmly, and yet majestically, and yet so maniacally. It was an inhuman fury.

Evol almost jumped when he grabbed her arm. She was actually suprised at that, and for a good reason. The flames still covered her arm, a nd yet they didnt burn him, she hadnt allowed it. She wasnt about to hurt someone who wished to help her and head remained down, easily hearing her brother when he spoke again.

"I easily know what I am. Human, like she used to be. You have no need to get in my way. If you continue to do so though, I will be forced to do something of it." He answered calmly. He held no fear for this one in the way. He held no fear, least thats wht he convinced himself of.

Evol glared at her brother, the flames on her arm growing and forming into a large ball in her hands. "Go away brother." She said loud enough and tossed the flaming ball. Touching the shadows they drew quickly away from the light. Seth glared and branished the sword, moving towards them.

"Oh, is that what you call it? Human... I know mankind, and you're certainly no example..." Diligo said coldly. The demigod looked and saw Seth drawing his sword. He responded by pointing his palm at his opponent, the pistol edge becoming clear in the firelight. His right arm still kept its grip, he would not mess up.

"Evol, you know him well, do you not?" Diligo whispered. It wouldn't matter whether he was loud or not though, he didn't care whether Seth heard. "Is this worth fighting?"

Evol shook her head, looking at them both with a worried expression. "this will not continue past midnight. He cannot fight me when I change." She almost whispered though her brothe heard.

Seth frowned at both of them. "This fight is no concern of yours. I am a better example then HER. Hiding behind that form will you? t was a mistake, like you are. Death had been meant, though I guess I had been a fool then. Thinking it'd be successful when I had second thoughts."

He did not continue forward though watching the pistol in the others arm warily. "I have enough time before that, and you know this Evol."

Seth's advance stopped, and Diligo's mind started. Why would he not advance The archangel's mind rushed to figure out the answer. It's clear he has a time limit, and he doesn't really know what my gun is capable of past the fact that it's a gun. So why not charge past me? Or at least attempt to run away? He thinks so highly of himself, there's no way he's just given up.

But suddenly Diligo was reminded. The sword is a close range weapon. But Seth had more than his sword. Seth controlled shadow. This was not a 2 dimensional fight, no; Seth could strike from anywhere in the room. Diligo, however, was restricted to a single target. This was bad, and Diligo realized it.

Seth looked at him and smirked, as if hearing what he thought. Shadows moved through the floor towards them, but shrunk back as the flames that covered her arms grew and got to her wings. Wings spread and the light around them grew to give them area around them.

"You will not use the shadows on my friend." She hissed and glared, seeming to brave up slightly. The candles around them slowly went out, the largened flames burning through the wax too quickly. Now the only light was from Evol's bright flames and the soft light of the stars.

Eyes narrowed as he looked at his sister and ignoring the other he moved towards them. The shadows covered him easily, constantly moving as he rose the armthat hald his sword.

Diligo was relieved that Seth's fires could not harm him with Evol around. But that relief lasted less than a second. If Seth can't strike normally, Diligo realized, he'd have to use his cunning. With a straight forward attack, one gets three stages, the anticipation, the witnessing, and the aftermath. Because of this one could see a move coming, prepare for a reaction, and probably not die all too instantly. But if someone used cunning the steps became obscure; suddenly there was no way to prepare, no way to expect, few ways to live. Diligo couldn't be alert like always. He'd have to take the offensive. But because Evol and him both needed to be together on these things, and there was no way to attack and protect simultaneously, both of the combatants were glued to the floor. No shadow powers were needed to do that.

"What are your intentions, Seth? Do you truly intend to use that blade, really intend to draw blood tonight?"
