It took a moment for Thiul to realize what kind of side she had shown to Titus. It surprised even her that she was able to be enough at ease to laugh. It had only happened before with those she was courting during battle if she was winning. Rarely from genuine joy. But though Thiul toned it down she couldn't erase the small smile on her face, she was much too happy.

"It'd be more accurate to say that you re-awakened a monster. Besides, who says at least half the clan doesn't deserve a foot or two up their ass?"
Thiul's smile turned a bit evil at that point, she couldn't wait to test this ability on Fweiu and Wera and perhaps one or two exes and old rivals. Thiul looked at Titus as he in his own way expressed concern, Thiul appreciated it.
"After I'll polish my skills on my clan I'll still be able to snap you in half. And naturally I'll make sure you get the best possible healthcare afterwards."

Thiul didn't want to overuse this ability right after gaining it, and shifted her legs back to normal. She wondered how her wings would work with partial shifting as Titus spoke again. Was he trying to say he'd miss her? Perhaps.
"It won't be quiet for too long, so enjoy the silence while you can."
Thiul's smile widened slightly. She couldn't say if she'd miss Titus when she was away, but she was pretty sure she'd at least think about him.
"And if you wish I'll disrupt the silence with phone calls."

"Eh around here you're probably right... about that. Still, a phone call is acceptable. Have fun with your family though," Titus grinned back at her. He wouldn't hide the fact that he was actually excited for her. Still he looked her over a little, pausing to consider his words. He might be opening a can of worms with his next question.

"I know you're a doctor, but are you sure you've tried everything for your legs?" he asked. "I mean, there's a good number of more options here than off island you know."

Thiul could tell Titus was happy for her, happy with her. He wasn't exactly trying to hide it. And Thiul's family would be happy with her as well, even if they knew she was now capable of fighting them on even ground.
But Thiul was quite sure she wouldn't be able to beat Fweiu in a couple more centuries.
"I will. Sparring is always fun."

Titus' question made sense, and it was something that wouldn't leave Thiul alone. The smile disappeared from her face, and she looked away with a thoughtful, and slightly frustrated expression.
"No, I haven't done everything."
Thiul could admit that much, and now she looked at Titus.
"My son is slowly dying. He comes before me. Because I can live in a wheelchair, but Hal..."
Thiul sighed a bit and shook her head.
"I know that there are other ways. But I have dedicated my time and resources on saving Hal. I haven't had the time to try and find ways to save myself."

"I... understand that but you could do both. I mean I could point you towards some resources from my clan," the gears in his head were already turning, which was obvious by the way he was rubbing his chin. It sounded like she was running herself ragged looking for an answer. And just ignoring her own problems.

"Um... I wanna take you to see someone who might be able to help you. He's not exactly a doctor, but he does know a lot about healing. And don'r worry, he's not sketchy..."

Titus wasn't wrong, it was exactly how it sounded like. Thiul didn't have a good sense of self-preservation, so she drove herself to the edge and ragged until someone forced her to stop and take a break. And this was one big reason why Thiul was so cranky in the first place. Constant stress did that to a person. And the fact that Thiul's pride often stopped her from taking a break even if someone tried to force her.

Thiul looked at Titus with slight surprise, noting the thoughtful expression she had seen before, when he talked about resources from his clan. But she was also suspicious, Thiul didn't want to raise her hopes even a tad high. She was a realist, maybe even a bit of a pessimist, and even though the Drakenhardts were a large clan that contained many unique talents none necessarily helped with Thiul's quite specific condition. Even if they did she'd want to let Hal get that help first.

"I want to take your word for it, but who exactly is this not sketchy person? And how exactly can he help me?"
Thiul asked, raising her other brow slightly in a manner she did a lot, and put her hands on her hips while waiting for an answer. All in all Thiul was grateful for this help Titus was offering, but Thiul wanted to avoid expressing it before she was certain the help would actually, well, help her, or Hal. Because Hal came first.
