Every place has rumors, and Manta Carlos is no different. This thread exists to help people get a feel for what kind of gossip their characters would be hearing. If something's going on in-character, and you think other characters would know about it, be sure to post here and let others know!

Rumor: Someone lit a flare and caused a ruckus the first night of the the Lilac Festival, after the majority of the first day's bands had finished up. It looked like some kind of fight, and ended with the four people involved parting ways under pretty rough terms. There was yelling and at least one punch got thrown.

Who's Hearing It?: Pretty much everybody has heard some variation of it at this point. Individual characters might even know who was involved in the fight: Yuki Hayashi, Gabriel Vega, Ferret, and Jasmine Kennedy (with OOC permission from their respective players).

Rumor: A well known by name thief has began operating in the local area. It's not known how to get a hold of him. Those that seek him out, find him on his terms, or so they say.

Who's Hearing It?: Anyone involved in the mafia or crime rings, as well as anyone that has unique or high profile artifacts, items, books, or collectibles.

Rumor: Yuki Hayashi has been transferred to a mental health facility in order to keep him from harming himself after being implicated for breaking and entering.

Who's hearing it?: Gabriel Vega and anyone else who knows Yuki would eventually be put into the loop.

Rumor: Jasmine Kennedy has been moved to the Islets. She is being held for mental health reasons after a breakdown that led to an attempt on her own life.

Who's Hearing It?: Sargent Angelo Genovese, Arianell Vaugn, and Eric Fleetman, and Ronnie Thomson - as well as anyone they talk to on the matter.
