Splashing Through the Sea

Kartik had gotten much more open with people since he'd met Joe. he'd talked more and he had been less defensive. he also Was thrilled that someone actually liked him for him. He walked along the beach, straying away from the water, carrying his quitar. Then, he saw Joe. He ran over guicker than humans could and was by her side in less than a blink of an eye. He covered her eyes and pulled her close.

"Guess who." he said in a tone of voice that was new to him. Playful. Kind. Caring. and Happy.

Kartik smilled blissfulyl as he spun her quickly around to face him. He looked won slightly into her eyes and anyone could see he was truly happy now. He put his arms around her waist and pulled her close to him and gave her a quick kiss, then dropped all but one of her hands.

He led her over to a small bock that was a few feet out into the water that was high enough to not be touched by the tides then lifted her gently up onto the rock, quickly getting up besides her. "How'ya been?" he questioned pleasantly.
