The club was nice, he'd come there once or twice for drinks, to meet people, and to ease down after a long job. So he'd enter, his glowing blue eyes standing out in the dim light, his nose twitching slightly as it picked up the various scents in the room. He was hoping for a nice evening of drinks and fun.

He'd find a spot at the bar, ordered a drink and would sip it as people around him talked and such. Then something unexpected happened, in truth it had actually happened to him before oddly enough. Someone spilt a drink on him, the attractive bartender to be exact.

The young man would blink in surprise as the cold drink was spilt over his arm and part of his chest. "Huh...," he'd look down at himself, and then up at the bartender. "You ok?" he'd ask with a small chuckle, not angry, more surprised than anything else.

It had been Ria's goal to learn how to better control her rather blunt and often rude way of speaking when she had started this job. Mostly it had worked, or at least Ria had learned how to hold her tongue even in front of the rudest of customers. She had always known how to be polite, and had thought that here she should be just that, but surprisingly many customers preferred that Ria spoke informally. So that was what Ria had begun to do, and soon she had garnered a reputation of sorts in the club. The pretty and straightforward stiff girl. Ria was aware of this reputation, but paid it no mind. She was here to earn her wage and get new experiences, she couldn't care less what people said.

It was a busy night, and Ria was doing her best to maintain her section of the bar with two other bartenders taking care of their sections. And during the hassle and hurry Ria didn't notice her hair starting to get loose, and her long thick hair rested on her back, having escaped the bun Ria had tied it on. That would prove to be her doom, when a rather intoxicated customer noticed it, and decided it would be a good idea to stroke it. Ria was in the middle of pouring a drink when the customer touched her hair, and when Ria moved to take the drink to the customer that ordered it the customer stroking Ria's hair instead grabbed a light hold of it, enough to make Ria stumble. Ria, who usually made no mistakes when working, lost her grip on the glass and while the glass didn't break when it hit the wooden counter the drink spilled all over a man with glowing eyes.

For a moment Ria was stunned, and the drunk customer quickly let go of her hair when he saw what he had caused. But before long Ria let out a quiet "Shit" and moved over to the customer, grabbing some paper towels from under the counter. She gave them to the man so he could wipe some off the alcohol off.
"I'm very sorry, sir."
Ria apologized, trying to sound sincere but failing, mostly sounding rather serious. But when the man, who Ria had just spilled alcohol on, instead asked Ria if she was okay she couldn't help but look at him and raise a brow at him.
"Pardon me, but I should be the one to ask you that."
Ria looked at the place where she had spilled the drink, it had been red wine and it was starting to form a pretty nasty stain on the man's jacket and shirt. Ria looked back at the man and while she spoke she swiftly tied her hair back up, this time to a ponytail.
"If you wish I can take you back and apply cleaning agent on your jacket, if it's left like that it will stain and you will have to get a new jacket."

"I don't know....a ass grabbing at your hair should be at least a bit concerning," he'd eye said drunk ass, but he was already wandering off. "Seriously though, you aren't hurt are you?" the jacket could be taken care of after he was sure she was ok.

Once he was sure she was ok he'd nod and sure. "Sure sure hon, let's head back," he'd smile. "I think the jacket will survive....well maybe," he'd chuckle, "bit of wine certainly won't hurt me none." His nose would twitch as it picked up her scent, she wasn't human, though he wasn't sure what species.

"Let's head on back then," and so he'd follow her, not wanting to stop her from doing her job, slipping out of his jacket as he did. "So does that happen a lot?" he'd ask curiously, "the drunk hair pulling that is, not the spilling," he'd say jokingly.

Ria hadn't even realized what had caused her to stumble, the hurry had kept her occupied, and when she looked where the man was looking the person in question was already on his way out. Ria did frown a bit, feeling tempted to go get the man and lecture him about bar etiquette, but customer was always right and Ria had to stay here where the real damage was.
"Nothing besides my work ethic suffered so do point the concern to your attire, it needs it more than I do."

Few months back being called hon would've rubbed Ria the wrong way, and even now it did just slightly, but when you got called darling, baby or sexy almost daily innocent pet names like that went in from one ear and out the other.
"In that case meet me at that end of the bar."
Ria said and pointed at the end she meant, and then she began walking there on her side of the bar. The man would probably have to dodge some other patrons to get there. On the way Ria patted one of the other bartenders on the shoulder and told him to fill in for her for a bit.

Ria slipped out from behind the bar and the man soon joined her, and she began leading him to the backroom with the cleaning supplies. On the way the man kept the conversation going, and without the bar between them Ria felt slightly more uncomfortable having a discussion with a complete stranger.
"Fortunately neither happens a lot, and my hair isn't the most intrusive place I have been touched. So I will live."
Ria said, taking the jacket from the man once he took it off. Ria held the door to the backroom open for the man once they reached it, and when both of them were inside Ria gestured to the small table with some chair and a couch by the wall.
"Sit wherever you want, while I clean your jacket. I would tell you to go ahead and go back to the bar, but I'm not confident I'd be able to find you afterwards."

"Sounds like your time here must be interesting," he'd say with a chuckle, handing her his jacket and taking a seat. "Bar work always looks interesting in a way, I imagine it's that much more here on the island," indeed there was some interesting sights among the crowd, a zombie was removing body parts to entertain some friends.

"Do you like it?" he'd ask curiously, "you seem pretty good at it, that drink you made me was good." He'd speak with a calm smile, in truth he wasn't super used to talking to strangers but he was decent at it.

Then it occurred to him that he hadn't introduced himself. "I'm Aedan," he'd motion to the jacket she held, "not the most common way to meet people," he'd chuckle, "but it works just as well." He'd glance towards the crowd, "it certainly wont be the last drink spilt in someone tonight."

Interesting. Suppose that was one way of describing it, Ria preferred eventful. Since the events that happened to her often weren't neither interesting or unpleasant. They were just experiences. Though if Ria had to choose more unpleasant than interesting things happened.
"It's a job and not much else."
Ria said, not wanting to go into detail about how she felt about her work. She didn't feel comfortable sharing her feelings and opinions with this stranger.

While the man kept talking Ria opened a cabinet in the corner and took out some strong detergent. It was one of the more magical kinds that you could only find on this island.
"It pays well enough, I was thoroughly trained to this job."
Ria answered as she set the jacket down on the table. She squirted some detergent on the stains and spread it out so it covered the whole stain. Then she went to the small kitchen corner, got some salt and poured it on top of the detergent. That was the finishing touch, the salt was a surprisingly effective stain remover, especially with red wine.

Introduction time came, and the man said his name was Aedan. Surprisingly normal name, but then again Ria's name was quite normal as well. Suppose now it was Ria's turn, although she didn't like sharing her name refusing to tell it would be rude, especially towards a customer.
"Ria."
Her name was short and simple, just how Ria liked most things. She had no last name, her kind had no need for such things.
"It won't be spilled by me."
Ria couldn't help but say that, she was still feeling frustrated over the mistake she had made, she was supposed to have a better balance and reflexes than that. This human form limited her abilities, it was harder to stay coordinated with such long and thin limbs.
