"I never went to the Arcanums, Nor was I high up enough when I was in the city to see much magic being used. The only magics I see and use are those on my weapons and armor. The gifts of the Goddess some call 'Divine' Magic but that is only for the Matriarchy. I know less of that then what I do of the Arcane. The only parts I know about is that the Gift of Form was given to me making me as I am now." Drex said in a informational distant tone, he honestly didn't know much more than what he said.

Amber than gave him permission to ask her a question. "What do you learn at this Academy? It sounds like one of the Arcanums from back home but they let in more species than the Race." He still hadn't gotten over how many peoples were on this island and he occasionally would glare at some of them from the shadows when they got to close to one of the Pandora Matriarchal family. As for now though, most were intimidated by his size as he walked Amber to her bus stop.

It seemed his answer satisfied the young matriarch as she did not ask him to expand upon his previous answer. Though he didn't have much more to expand upon the matter. But it seemed that he had touched on a subject the young Amber really enjoyed as she moved in front of him and began to walk backwards while he walked with her. She then began to explain to him that there were different kinds of rocks that were made in different ways.

At first he thought that maybe he should ask if they did not learn about the Elemental Planes and the dangers from the dark. Drex remembered his father teaching him about the dangers of Acidic oozes that lived in the smallest of cracks, the swarms of large sized insects that could devour a squad of men before they could scream. He did not ask this for this must be something that Amber had wanted to learn, therefore he would not push the matter. It was also probably Matriarchy Stuff so he should keep his nose out of their buisness, it was his duty to guard them. No more than that. Asking further questions might get him killed and it was better to not have that happen to him.

"That sounds... Interesting, are you able to share this information with me? It sounds like this information is more for the Matriarchy and not for a simple guard like myself." He tried to say it with some emotion as he scanned around them to make sure that Amber was safe, up ahead he saw a larger vehicle that he had learned was a bus. It was leaving it's stop and going away from them. "Um, Lady Amber I think I may have delayed you and the bus is leaving." he pointed and hopped that his delaying her would not get him dishonorably slain by Matriarch Pandora.

Drex made a small hum of sound as he contemplated this until he had noticed the bus driving off and when Amber picked up speed he easily increased the distance between his steps to keep up with her. When he heard something about 'tarty' he didn't know how one could taste tart when you miss a transportation vehicle but apparently it did not sound pleasant and if a young Matriarch was having an unpleasant day they would strike out to the nearest Male or even younger Matriarch. Calculating the distances and the quickest way to the Academy which he had only seen once he made a decision.

"Lady Amber, It is my fault for making you miss your bus. Please climb onto my back, I shall carry you to the school post-haste." Drex then curled up on himself to make the distance to his back and the ground as minimal as possible being the size that he was. "I should be able to get there just after the bus arrives. It will be faster than any other option I can come up with at this time."

Drex waited until Amber was fully on his back and had a good hold on him. Once that was done he began to move quickly going from a walk to a trot of sorts into a full on galloping sprint. "Please hold on Lady Amber, I do not want you to fall off." In his rolling galloping stride it was rather smooth as far as Drex could tell. But he kept looking over his shoulder. "Are you alright Lady Amber?"

Hoping to keep Amber's attention away from the current situation, help ease her stress a bit. However he really didn't want her to know that doing something like this for a Matriarch was done as a punishment to any male carrying them. He didn't want Amber to find this out and feel bad for him since it was his own fault for making her late for her bus. If she learned this Amber might just want to get off and try to hurry to her school on her own. It was his fault and it was his punishment. 'Let that be' he hoped.

Amber said she was okay on his back so he kept up his pace but Drex was still worried that he might be going to fast for the young Amber to keep comfortable with, but he needed to keep this pace if he wanted to make up the time so Lady Amber could be to her school on time. When she apologized to him he almost tripped over himself and that wouldn't have ended well for either of them. "It is not your fault Lady Amber. If it wasn't for my interference in your daily routine I am sure you would have arrived at your intended location for your bus with time to spare. I distracted you and slowed my Lady down."

"I will understand if you would wish punishment onto me for this infraction. It is not the place of the guard to disrupt the schedule of the household. When we arrive at your school I will accept any further punishment you would deem necessary to make up for this fault on my behalf." Drex tried to smooth out his steps a little bit as he said this while still keeping his current pace. They were passing by pedestrians and slow moving vehicles as he sometimes needed to scramble up a wall to get around a large crowd he wouldn't be able to fit his legs through and go over them. Eventually they were making their way through more vacant sections of sidewalk and things began to lead towards the academy. Drex set his shoulders as they turned one corner and the conviction to do his best bleed into his voice. "I will get you, Lady Amber, to school on time."
