Hm, didn't realise that some of them were good, but it still works as, as you said, he would feel the malevolent ones more clearly than the benevolent, especially because he isn't used to them. Once he is, though, maybe he could feel traces of them. Also, glimpses work, here and there, in irregular intervals. I didn't really intend for him to be able to see them anyway. :D Hope my post still works. If not, I can always re-write it.
