Some Bad Air

It was sort of her fault for not getting a total stranger's name. But she also was probably at the height of her pettiness as well so she wasn't even thinking. It made sense sure, and yeah he was still really pissed off. But it wasn't at Aedes. For everything that this was, Orsick was about to do something he'd probably regret for years to come.

He was calming down, not letting his guard down... just calming down. He took a few breaths, the scales on his face receded, and he was returning to something more human.

"Aedes..." he looked at her he was kind of bitter, and tired. "Stop being an asshole who's all resistant to well anything that could actually protect you from whatever shit you're so scared of. Because if you were Dalia no one would be shaking someone down in an alley looking for answers. I'm walking you home, I feel like your dad would be less mad if he saw you made a friend for once. Instead of taking stupid pictures on your phone."

"Wow," Orsick shook his head at her. "Gonna be real here, there might be a chance she comes after you too. That's kinda why too. She took out Dalia, and you gave away some information on her. Who knows, she might do worse to us. It would suck if something happened to you just because you talked to me."

Orsick just gave Aedes a look that told her clearly enough that he wasn't messing around with this. "Here's an idea, when someone offers you kindness like this just take it. Don't fight it."
