Solitude...maybe

Myndy nodded. "Yeah, me neither. I'd probably have to have a calender to figure out how long." She shrugged. If he wasn't going to say anything else, than she wasn't going to either. She turned her head and looked out the window again.

Silence came about the entire room when the conversation abruptly ended. He never had a long conversation, nice long one, ever in his life, and he was sad that it ended.

Well, he couldn't exactly think of anything with pain in his wing. And it was much worse now that he couldn't see it. He should stop being stubborn and go to the Hospital Wing already.

But, he didn't feel like moving from his comfortable spot on the chair. Then, he decided to continue where they left off, "So, since this is a school for kids with gifts, what's yours?" he asked, curiously. It was seemingly the first time he had a conversation with someone else. He better not let this opportunity to disappear; he never socialized a lot.

Myndy half smiled when he spoke. She was rather bored by sitting there staring out the window, and it would be rude to read.

"I remember everything I'm told, or anything I've read. It's really not that amazing, but it's useful." She shrugged her shoulders as she said this. "What about you?"

"That's cool. I have a sieve-like memory. A lot of things fly out. Mostly important things, though," he said, smiling a sincere smile. He felt like laughing a little as well, but his pain stopped it.

"I think I'm a sort of telekinetic. It's really random at times and go through things too," he commented, slightly wondering, "I can fly, too, not too well though."

Myndy laughed. "Sometimes being able to remember everything isn't that great. Sometimes it kind of sucks." She said.

"That's pretty cool. Well, not that it comes and goes, but the Telekenisis part and the flying part."

"Well, maybe," he said quietly, reflecting somehow, depression almst coming to him. He snapped out of it suddenly to her second statement.

"I can control it somewhat, but even I don't know how it works. And for the flying, like I said, I wasn't ever good at it," he said, lightly joking around, pretending that he didn't feel a jet of pain stream down his wing structure.

Myndy noticed his sudden quietness almost depression, but didn't say anything.

She continued smiling. "Yeah. I would think it would be kind of hard to anyway."

He decided to change the subject.

"Where's the Hospital Wing?" he asked abruptly. Was that quite random. He had finally acknowledged the fact that the tissues of his wing was torn and some bons broken.

Myndy thought for a second. "It's..." she broke off and looked at him. "Are you okay? Are you sick or something?" She asked.

"Eh, no," he said quite hastily. "Maybe I can find it on my own," he stood up and sorta... fell back down, wincing from the pain. Unconciously, he grasped the air above his shoulder blades. Where his wings supposed to be.

"I broke some of my bones... I think... So...where's the hospital?"
