"Almost," Liliana said as she came up behind Elisa, and gently but firmly corrected her posture. Then she stood behind her, and reached around Elisa, lifting the bow upwards to position her hands correctly, "Relax your shoulders a bit, Elisa, and pull back with me, I'll show you how to, okay?" Liliana instructed.

Elisa Pelham
Allowing Liliana to manipulate her form, Elisa held her stance, though it was now better suited for the task.

"Okay," Nodding, she pulled back the string with Liliana. It felt easier, though Liliana might be the cause of that. "Is there a trick to aiming?" She didn't have an arrow notched, but just imagining one there, Elisa found it hard to point it.

"There is a trick actually," Liliana said as she lift the bow just a bit higher, "This is a composite bow, okay," she explained looking ahead past Elisa and letting the string go to show her something.

"See here," she pointed to a round piece of metal on the side of the bow," You look through this at the target to aim."

"Melody, pass me an arrow," Liliana said as she looked at her regalia.

Elisa Pelham
Once Liliana let go, Elisa felt the full tension and was unprepared for it, causing the string to return partially. Looking at where Liliana pointed, she noticed the small object. "Oh, that makes sense."

((Sorry, its short. Low on muse, just wanted to continue plot))

(That's fine!!)

Liliana just smiled when Elisa said that it made sense, glad that she seemed to understand. "Ok, now the tricky part. The arrow." she stated simply.

"First, take the arrow in the hand you are going to shoot with. Then, you place it between your two fingers like so," here she showed Elisa while standing behind her. "Now, you grab the string and pull back as far as you can until the arrow is within the bow, ready to aim," she said as she helped Elisa by showing her.

"Now you try?" Liliana said, "Try shooting too, okay? It´s okay if it doesn´t go far. We are just getting you use to everything."

Elisa Pelham
She watched silently, moving her fingers to their desired positions, then she pulled the string back again, until the Arrow was where it should be.

Mumbling to herself, Elisa looked through the scope to aim the bow at a nearby tree. "A bit higher... no too much... Left.."

Unused to the effort, her hand was still shaking, but she managed to actually fire the arrow. Despite this though, the arrow only landed a few meters away, and on a path not even close to the tree. "Not bad for a first timer?" She laughed.

Watching quietly as Elisa took her shot, Liliana saw that for a first attempt, she did rather well.

"You did great actually," Liliana grinned, "Most people lose the arrow and it kind of shoots two feet in front of them or falls to the ground immediately.

"Try again if you want," Liliana said encouragingly as she held another arrow out to Elisa.

Elisa smiled back at her, taking the arrow. "I didn't think i was going to get that far, to be honest."

Readying the bow again, she was a bit more careful and didn't put so much energy into holding her arm straight. oddly though, it meant her hand didn't move as much, and when she actually managed to fire, it was closer, hitting the ground directly in front.

Liliana watched Elisa take another shot, watched as she pulled back the string, placed the arrow and let go. This time it flew further and more centered before it hit the ground.

"Not bad, not at all," she stated with a wide grin, very pleased at her quick progress and how fast she was seemingly picking it up. "Soon you will be hitting the target, in fact, if you want, take a few steps forward, and try that. You might be a bit far away from the target to start, besides, you can always move back as you get better."

She wasn't bad? That was good to hear. "What's the normal range? Of a Bow and Arrow, I mean." Elisa said, shuffling forward a few feet, before turning back. "Can I try again with another arrow?"
