"Don't lie to my face with your fake smile." He was somewhat irritated at that, though tried to hide it in his tone. "If you want to be alone, just say so and I will give you the book." He was rather prompt with his answers, having mercurially turning a bit hard on her.

"Well, I guess it is time for me to go, unless you actually want to hang out more? I get the feeling that you don't from your body language." Valentine turned, his head facing opposite of her.

"NO! Wait!..." She looked down... "Please... stay..." She said tears in her eyes, she didn't want to lose the only possible friend she had. She decided she'd tell him the truth... "It's not you.... I've never told anyone." She looked down. "Can't we talk near the tree I feel like I'd be telling the whole world at this distance." She said a tear falling down her cheek.

He smiled, "No, I don't think you get it. I just mean for today. You don't have to share any more secrets." Valentine advanced, his lips by Amelia's ears. He whispered, "I already know you are my friend. You don't need to tell any more to me."

The eighteen year old stepped back, "We just met about five hours ago, and I know it is a short time, but I really do connect to you. We can share secrets and other depressing tales another time. What I think you should do is just relax, all I did was share my experience. Soon we shall know each other greatly, just not now."

She nodded... She was slightly embarassed she didn't know he had mean't only for the day. She felt a light blush cover her face it wasn't red just a light pink. She didn't know what to do since she never really had been in this situation before of embarassment. She managed to say... "The book.... Sonlath..."

Valentine shook his head smiling, "You really care for him? You two related in any way?" he was curious, ever the wondering one.

"Umm...yea, I guess we will have to take that half mile walk from here to my room, well, in your case to the lounge." He smiled and walked by her side. "I forgot to ask, do you have any other siblings here? I don't have any myself."

"No.... He just reminds me of me." She said drying her tears so she wouldn't look like a freak. She tried to look composed since they'd be going into the lounge. "One thing I hate I always think someone will see my tears." She looked at him her tears dried... "Do I look okay?" She asked hoping she didn't look like a truck ran over her. "No I have no siblings... No living family."

Valentine didn't respond, thinking that it needed none. "You look fine. If anyone makes fun of you I will be on them." He said stoicly as he opened the door to the lounge. Valentine entered into his room.

I don't even know my own room mate Clasoing the book from his bed.

She sat on a nearby couch in the lounge she heard some girls whispering. She ignored them and waited. She wondered what was this book going to do to help her help Sonlath. She looked out the window kinda antsy... She never came into the lounge before, she was more antisocial then social. She overheard two people talking in hushed tones to eachother. They we're quite lovey dovey, she figured they were a couple. As much as she tried not too she overheard the girls in the back gossiping about couples and people and such.

Walking out he looked at the girls in the lounge and then looked down. Valentine forgot to look down a bit as he walked and tripped upon a wire hovering a bit over the ground.

The eighteen year old forgot who was around him and tossed the book towards Amelia. "Catch." Valentine said stoically as he twisted around. The eighteen year old then leaned so much towards his right, seeing a chair that he was able to trip over a couch arm and rest his legs up, falling onto the couch.

He sighed, relaxed.

She caught the book. And looked at him laughing lightly... He looked rather silly tripping falling tripping again. She looked at him sitting comfortably on the couch she started to look thru the book unsure of what she'd find. She didn't know how old the book was. Only somehow this was supposed to help Sonlath according to Valentine. She hear the girls in the back again coming in her hearing. She heard them talking about Valentine.... And her. She didn't say anything, she was going to but not yet not in front of Valentine.
