Milton looks at Lauren, smiling sadly. "It's nothing that can be helped. I just... I can't remember anything before waking up at the lake a couple days ago." He sighs, turning his gaze to the skies. "The stars alone hold the secrets of my past, and they speak volumes, yet I cannot understand them, so I don't know what tales they tell."

Milton shrugs. "Well, considering that I don't really have a frame of reference," he says, "it seems like a nice place. The people I've met are friendly, and some are," Milton winks at Lauren, "very attractive."

Lauren laughed slightly, "Well then I really do hope you decide on staying." She said to him. It was getting colder and Lauren began to shiver a little as she watched the sky.

Milton smiles. "I'm sure I'll stay. Aside from having nowhere to go, to leave such a beauty as you, why, t'would rend my heart in twain and leave my soul aching, and the world but a pale shadow of itself."
