Snow was falling down, Kristin cheeks were rosie red from the cold. She didn’t know why she was heading to the roof in this weather. She opened the door, Kristin wanted to practice with her powers..
He walked through the door and saw Kristin standing there looking up and feeling the snow fall on her face. He didn't know what to do, stand there and watch her, or to start a conversation. He sat down on an old rusty chair and watched to see what she was going to do.
Kristin was going to practice everything she had learned the other night with Rayana. Ok, I can do this. She told herself. She closed her eyes, and turned into a simple light form like she did the other night. This time only 10 seconds. She couldn’t hold the form any longer. “Oh crap.â€Â
He arose from his seat and applauded her, "good job, how long have you been able to do that?" he said supportingly. He walked over to her and stood in front of her, "show me that again please."
"Only ten seconds, how long have you been watching be?" Kristin asked, but she didn't wait for a answer she tried to do it again. She changed into the glowing light for 12 seconds this time.
"Just the other night, this lady helped me. She's a pretty odd character. She isn‘t a teacher or a student. Just hangs around for the view." Kristin admitted. It was kind of odd the way she met her but Kristin didn’t think anything of it at the time.
“It’s frustrating trying to get it right. But other than that I like it.†Kristin said. Kristin wanted to get it already but she knew it took a little more time. “What’s new with you? I haven’t seen you in a while. I was starting to think you were avoiding me.†She said.
"No, never", he laughed, "I think I can help you with your power. It's kinda like mine except kinda not..." he thought for a second and then continued, "I can produce dark energies, andthen manipulate them. Since you can produce the light energies, I think it's kinda the same thing, ya know?" He knew she thought he was crazy, but it was worth a shot. "Do you want me to help?"
