It was a rare day off for Isadora. She had been working a ton of overtime lately, to the point that she felt kind of lost on days she didn't work. Bored at home, she decided to go for a walk and just see what was going on around the city.

She stopped by the community center. No one was around, but at least she could get some free coffee. There were also some pamphlets laying around, so she grabbed one because why not.

After that, she decided to have a seat in the park and pull out her vape. She took a deep inhale and blew out the smoke--it smelled somewhat like lemons but there was an obvious marijuana smell as well.

She took a look at the pamphlet as she smoked. It was a drug PSA, which Isadora was admittedly a bit curious about. Not that she wanted to take them, but she wanted to be aware of what was going around.

"Made from demon blood..." She muttered to herself as she read. "At least drugs weren't made with blood back home. Gross."

Viviane recently made it a personal goal to try to remain in shape considering she just spends most of her time at a desk going over multiple old case files every single day. So here she was at the park on of her scheduled jogging sessions.

After getting done with her third lap around the park, Viviane stopped under a tree just a bit off the trial to catch a break. She took a quick moment to glance at her watch which was monitoring her heart rate and the time it took her to finish the laps. Her heart rate was decent but the time that showed on her watch wasn't exactly ideal. She knew she could definitely do better than the time she got which just made her just a bit agitated. If she didn't need to catch her breath for a bit she probably would have attempted another three laps right then and there.

Viviane just sighed and lowered her wrist. She glanced around for a place to sit when she spotted and a familiar looking face. She also immediately noticed it looked like she was vaping which immediately caused her to want a smoke break honestly. Which was probably a bad idea, Viviane was pretty sure smoking and exercising was a bad idea.

Viviane decided to make her way over to the bench and say hello. She didn't see "Oh, hey." She put on a smile and waved one hand to the other woman as her other hand was pulling out a earbud. "Your name is Isadora right?"

Once she got closer she definitely noticed of the smell of the vape but most importantly the pamphlet in Isadora's hands. She just refrained from making any comments about the pamphlet just yet.

Isadora looked up when she heard her name, blowing some smoke to the side before putting the pamphlet down on the bench beside her.

"That's me. Hey copper," she replied with a little half-smirk. She rested her upper arm against the back of the bench, propping up her head with her hand. It was moments like this when she truly remembered how different Manta Carlos was; not having to keep her guard raised around cops. It felt...weird. But she hadn't done anything wrong on the island, so there was no reason for her to act like she did.

"That's what I should be doing," she commented, gesturing vaguely to Viviane's workout clothes. "But it's the last goddamn thing I wanna do on my days off..." she groaned.

"Copper is too...mm." Viviane just shook her head. "I personally prefer Detective but you can also just call me Viviane." She smiled at Isadora and just trying to keep her focus on the other woman and not the pamphlet she had in her hands.

"Yeah, doing extra work on the days when you can finally relax is usually a no go for most people." She chuckled a bit. Viviane then gestured to the empty spot on the bench beside Isadora. "Do you mind if I sit here? I need to rest my legs for a bit. I've been going hard at it for the past hour."

"Got it, detective copper...or Viviane." She smirks, clearly enjoying giving an officer some shit--but in a playful way.

"Oh yeah, have a seat," Isadora replied as she shifted over a bit and grabbed the pamphlet to give Viviane room to sit.

"So, detective V..." she held up the pamphlet. "You gotta deal with shit like this? Drugs made out of blood?"

She turned the pamphlet over to look at it again. "Like, drugs back home are made of some wild shit, but not...body fluids, as far as I know. Fuckin' weird."
