Fweiu landed in the middle of the street, with a thump that could be felt all around the neighborhood. Careful not to disturb any parked cars, she returned to her human form and sized up her destination.

She had found it online: some people said that someone here was a magical healer, and gave her excellent reviews. Something small and private like this would be best, she thought, because she didn't want everyone in a waiting room seeing her with a dislocated jaw. The pain and the stress was already bad enough. Thinking about how Liun dislocated her jaw was already bad enough. Her mouth was bleeding, and her face was starting to bruise.

The building looked almost like a standard house, except for the foliage. The vines covering the building were particularly impressive, along with the garden.

Fweiu walked up to the front door and knocked.

Arthesia was at home enjoying her day off washing dishes and thinking about the recent events that had occurred with her and Liun. The other day was quiet the predicament and she was still a bit embarrassed about it or maybe even nervous? Arthesia shook her head trying not to think about it as soon as she did that however she felt the ground shake or move a little and she wondered if she was getting dizzy a bit or even imagined it?

The dishes that she recently had washed that were set to dry against a rack had made a clank noise as they bumped into each other from the vibrations so it could not have been her. She wondered what could have caused that and stopped washing the dishes. She grabbed a small dish towel that sat neatly against the counter top and dried off her hands. Arthesia headed to her living room as it had a giant garden viewing window to see if she could see anything but she saw nothing and wondered if something had happened on the island somewhere. "Hmm" she thought to herself and as she was about to go back to doing the dishes she heard knocking coming from the front door. "I wonder who that could be?" she thought to herself.

Arthesia headed through the kitchen and to the small hallway that lead to the front door. She opened the front door to see Fweiu standing there with her mouth bleeding and this shocked Arthesia momentarily. She was not expecting one of Liun's family members to be standing at her door but more surprisingly then that would be here standing with her mouth bleeding and looking a bit bruised and out of place? What had happened to her? Arthesia was worried and her dark green eyes glowed a light green color in worriment. She wanted to ask what had happened and wondered why anyone would want to hurt anyone from Liun's family as they had seem so nice at least to her anyways. She remembered meeting Fweiu for a little bit at the community center and she was very nice to Arthesia and even complimented her hair. But seeing how she must be in so much pain Arthesia figured she would not like to talk. So Arthesia would save her questions until she was able to heal her enough for her to feel comfortable with talking. "Please come in." she offered as she stepped to the side letting Fwieu inside her house; her green hair swayed to the side showing that her hair was tied in a ponytail.

She guided Fweiu to her living room the laid past her kitchen and let Fweiu know she could sit anywhere she wanted to. Arthesia had a couple of different furniture in her living room. She had a medium sized leather couch and a rustic looking wood rocking chair that looked hand carved and a small pillow cushion that laid next to the table right a crossed the couch she also had a medium sized flat screen TV in the corner of the room and a couple of bookshelves filled with books in the room not to mention most of her house was covered in many different house plants and flower pots. You could tell by looking at her house she loved plants and flowers etc.

Arthesia decided to wait to till Fweiu made herself comfortable until asking her if it was okay to try to start to examine her face and mouth to see where she and what she needs to do to start to help Fweiu recover. She figured the recovery process should be faster considering Liun has mentioned he was a dragon and that his family members were as well.

Fweiu noticed a familiar smell as the person here got closer to the door. By the time she connected the dots, the door was already beginning to open. It was too late for her to consider leaving. Thankfully, Fweiu's injury would hide the emotions on her face. It could all be chalked up to the fact that her jaw was messed up, and her face looked weird.

Why would her phone have guided her to Arthesia's home, of all places? Wasn't Arthesia some kind of book-seller? Were the spirits of the Ancients taking revenge on her for something? Because this day just kept getting worse.

She couldn't speak to protest - which may have been a blessing, because she wasn't sure what she would have said. So she was brought in to admire Arthesia's interior decorating, to sit down and to try not to bleed on her furniture. When Arthesia asked to see the injury, she complied.

She would let Arthesia do whatever she thought best to fix her, even if it hurt.

Upon receiving Fweiu's approval Arthesia came closer to Fweiu and bent down a bit so she could see Fweiu's face clearly. Arthesia brought her hands gently to Fweiu's face and they glowed a slight green color as she traced her jawline to feel the dislocation. She tried to apply her healing to lighten the pain and heal at the same time but she knew she would have to re correct her jaw and put it back in the correct position and it could be tricky.

"Fweiu it might be a little painful and I apologize in advanced just bare with me okay?" she said softly but in a serious tone. Arthesia's eyes glowed a light green color as she concentrated more on healing now. Both her hands still remained on Fweiu's face and traced her jaw as gently as possible. She could feel where the dislocation was at and focused her healing on that area but she knew she was going to have to snap her jaw back into place and quickly heal it. However that would be painful if she would not able to heal it quickly enough not to mention having a chance to be hit as just a response to the pain.

Arthesia braced herself as she was about to try to take the steps in pulling off everything in one go. She knew combining her healing and the regenerative powers of dragons should be enough to hopefully be able to fight back the pain of re-positioning Fweiu's jaw and she she also tried to keep the idea of being able to control plants in the back of the mind if she needed to protect herself if Fweiu lashed out in pain. In one moment she heard a snap noise as she with some force re-positioned Fweiu's jaw back to where it should be and as she did that she never stopped the healing she continued on swiftly but her blood ran cold for a moment because she was not sure how Fweiu would react. But the pain should be becoming less now as the worst part of it should be over now.

As Arthesia held Fweiu's face in her hands, Fweiu remembered how pretty Arthesia was. She could see why Liun might like her.

But she expected the pain. As Arthesia pushed her jaw back into place, Fweiu let out a ragged breath, shaking just a bit. And when it was over, she would just sit there, moving her jaw slowly and experimentally, feeling it, making sure everything was in order. It was, and it was a great relief.

The first words out of her mouth were "Thank you, Arthesia."

And then: "I found you by looking online for a healer. I didn't know it would be you when I started flying. Funny how that worked out." She sighed, feeling awkward. "How much do I owe you?"

Arthesia was still a bit nervous that Fweiu still might be in some pain after the treatment but it was nice to see her being able to move her jaw and being able to open her mouth and close without any issues. She sighed in relief some as she was worried since she was out of a lot of her usually medicinal ointments that helped with numming and to help with pain during her usual treatments and she was glad that it all worked out regardless of being out of her usual tools.

As Arthesia stood back up and gave Fweiu some space to stand up and stretch if she needed to she heard Fweiu thanking her and she simply smiled at her. As she continued she was amused with the comment about not expecting to see her. Fate indeed have an interesting way of bringing people together. As soon as Fweiu mentioned payment Arthesia shook her head. "Oh no I can't possibly charge you for this." she said to reassure Fweiu. Besides she was part of Liun's family and not to mention it is her job to heal people when in need. In a way meeting Liun was payment enough for her. She kind of felt embarrassed thinking about it. Looking back at Fwieu Arthesia smiled before telling her another statement in reassurance. "Besides I am just happy your better now! I was so worried when you showed up in the state you were..." she said now with a worried look on her face. She wondered if maybe she should call Liun to let him know that someone from his family was attacked or hurt?

Arthesia would do this for free? Fweiu's dignity couldn't take that. She would owe her a big favor, and after what had happened today... that was just too much.

"I appreciate the offer, but I insist. I can easily afford it, and I wouldn't want to be taking advantage of you. So, how much?" She was already pulling out her checkbook and a pen, and she would start filling out her name and Arthesia's in the appropriate fields.

Arthesia was so nice, and for some reason it made Fweiu feel ashamed. Which was weird, and she hated it. She hadn't wronged either of them. Far from it, she was trying to save them from the pain of watching their child get sick and die. She had been 100% in the right. Liun just had some pain and loss to work through. That was all.

Arthesia frowned somewhat as she really did not want to charge Fweiu for the treatment since she really did not use any medical items or herbs which she kind of felt bad for but sadly she was out of stock on some numbing ointments and other things that she usually uses for her treatment. So she was unsure of how she should charge her if she really did not waste anything on her. She thought about this for a moment and wondered if Fweiu was interested in talking instead for payment?

"Well Fweiu I appreciate that but I did not use any medicinal herbs or items on you so you really did not waste anything of mine and I also don't really want to charge for..." she paused wondering if she was going to say the word family? She blushed slightly. Liun and her were not really that close to being able to use words like that but Fweiu was Liun's family so since she was dating him now she was not sure how to feel about charging a family member of his for a treatment. She was most likely over thinking it. She tried to finish her sentence with something that sounded correct "For someone who might become a real good friend in the future." she said with a smile hoping that was more acceptable.

Fweiu just stared at Arthesia for a few moments, then she let out a long sigh.

Arthesia was just too good. Too precious, too nice. And if this had happened any other time, Fweiu was sure she would have loved it. Loyalty as though she was already a part of this family. On a deep level, she approved of this, and of Arthesia.

And it was good, then, as Fweiu tried to tell herself, that she was looking out for her and Liun. Making Liun aware of harsh truths before they got close enough to bite. Why did she feel so much shame?

"In that case, I owe you a favor."

Closing her checkbook, she pulled a business card out of her pocket. It was engraved, made of fine paper, and it had a dragon on it. The dragon looked classy, Fweiu would have you know. She gave this to Arthesia. "If you call on me, I'll come."

With that out of the way, Fweiu would change the subject. "By the way - this healing magic you can do. I'm curious. Is it something you learned, or something you were born with?" If her people could learn it, that would be valuable indeed. She was always on the lookout for things her clan could be doing or learning.

Arthesia could not help but to smile when Fweiu seemed so keen on trying to pay her back somehow. She seemed so headstrong about this that it was kind of cute and she wondered if all of Liun's family was this interesting. Arthesia reached out to grab the paper card that Fweiu offered her and she looked at it. She smiled as she thought this was a nice card and it even had a nice looking dragon design on it. "Thank you kindly Fweiu I will remember that." she said holding onto the card gently.

She listened to Fweiu as she asked about her healing and Arthesia mused on that thought for a moment. She was not quite sure why she was able to heal people but most of her clansmen especially the women of the family were able to heal. She remembered her mother saying it was a gift granted by the goddess of olden times and she never really questioned it. "Well most of the woman in my family could heal. My mother use to say that the clan was blessed by a goddess in olden times but I never thought too much about it." she said walking over and placing the card Fweiu gave her on the table. She was not really too sure on her healing origins but she knew she had to practice with it in order to become better. She then walked back over and sat on the couch softly. "I guess you could say I was born with this gift but at the same time it was a skill I had to practice and learn how to use." she said a bit seriously.
