<div align=center>Kida's talkativeness was more or less him being polite, he'd learned over time that a quiet doctor was not a good doctor. It was always good to keep in check how people were, though maybe he should just leave this kid alone for a bit. He had paperwork he had to finish off anyway, please don't make me do that. Please I don't wanna do anymore writing. Kida just wanted to go home, but wasn't it his turn to stay here tonight? He didn't remember. There was more or less always a nurse or a doctor on campus, at all times, they just took turns in staying here. The boy kept looking at his eyes, Kida noticed. He wasn't sure why, he, personally didn't think they were all that nice. Grey. He could have been born with any eye colour, and he was born with grey eyes. Even brown would have been better than this. He supposed he was stuck with them now, though, his powers didn't include being able to change things about himself. He glanced around, briefly wondering what the time was. Kida was tired, he hadn't really slept all that well recently, then again, when did he ever?

He laughed softly at the boy's reaction to his question, making a move to pick the supplies he'd used on the boy up, and put them away again. The cotton wool went in the bin and he shuffled over to the sink to wash his hands. The doctor didn't say anything more, since he didn't think anything really needed to be said. He could probably send this kid back to his lessons, but he was sure David would prefer to sit here for a little while rather than go and sit in a stuffy classroom full of kids that harassed you whenever possible, that's how it had been for Kida anyhow. That was a long time ago.</div>

What made a good doctor or a bad doctor was lost on David, he'd only been to the hospital once and that was when he was born. Kida was doing a fantastic job. Not that he was a doctor. He was probably skipping lessons because he was able to practice his powers while in the infirmary. And then, of course, normal healing processes. So whether he was talking or not would not have made a difference. David wasn't bleeding anymore, and that made the difference.

David had never really had any reason so go to the infirmary except for today. So really he didn't know anything about the way it worked nor did he care much. Honestly, unless he worked in it, he didn't care about it. Well, alright, so he didn't care about school and yet he worked in it. But that wasn't the point. School was different. At least he could get away with not paying attention and still get the work done later.

David had no clue what time it was, nor did he understand why Kida's eyes were hypnotizing. They just were. Sure, his were pretty unnatural with his black hair, but still, he'd never seen grey eyes. Sometimes he wished he had come with characteristic changing abilities, but he seemed to live fine with invisibility and intangibility.

How it had been for Kida in school was sort of the same for David. He got harassed occasionally but that was only because he couldn't talk back. And since he had a good excuse to be out of class, he could just sit and do nothing. Wait, no, he could finish his drawing!

He lightened up and spun his bag onto his lap, flinching with every movement of his wrist. He opened the flap and reached in for the spiral bound sketch book before pausing and looking up. Kida was washing his hands, but he still wanted to be safe. He made his hand invisible and pulled out the book, it being invisible in turn. He also pulled out his pencil and then slipped into complete invisibility. It was like a security blanket. Some kids could sit up at night with a blanket over there heads and feel secretive, David could sit on his bed and go invisible and feel secretive.

He flipped open his notebook and began to draw, the sound of the pencil against the paper echoing throughout the room. It was always funny that even if he was invisible, you could still hear what e was doing.

<div align=center>David hadn't questioned Kida's age, though then again he hadn't questioned anything. So that was a plus for the doctor, it was probably unlikely he'd end up telling him. Most assumed he was about seventeen, so he let them believe that. It was much easier than explaining to someone you were in fact thirty years old with the face (and body) of a teenager. Kida didn't know whether his appearance caused problems or was a benefit to him, he supposed a little bit of both. It was pretty good for some things. Others, not so much. Like driving, he'd been pulled over all too many times. He'd been stopped in stores because of his appearance too, it was difficult to buy alcohol and cigarettes when you looked like a little boy.

Naturally, Kida was surprised when the boy suddenly disappeared. More so than he had been the other time he'd done it, that had only been for a brief moment, but... Where did he go? The man spun around, staring at the spot where the boy had previously been, evidently confused. There was still the sound of pencil on paper though, which suggested he was either writing, or drawing. Invisibility was a cool power, and rather handy if you were someone that didn't particularly like school. He was just a tad envious, he'd been blessed with pyrokinesis himself, which was often just a little bit dangerous if Kida was angry. He tended to fire up, quite literally. "Huh. So that's your power."

(ahh sorry for taking ages to post ;-; and sorry it's kind of short)</div>

It didn't matter to David at the moment if Kida really wasn't seventeen. He certainly looked it and David always jumped to conclusions because it was easier than clarifying. He had no idea how to ask how old Kida was without talking. He could use a notebook, but they were all class books and he didn't want to fill them with nonsense. He could have used an empty one, but those were all in his dorm.

David stuck out his tongue in concentration as he shaded the thin lines to make it look like blood and a deep cut. He added a small part where you could see bone at the bottom of the cut, which hadn't been true to his cut, but he was still going to use it because he wanted it to be a little more gory. He moved his tongue the other direction as he rotated the notebook to shade the lines differently. Then he pulled it back in as he rubbed his fingers over the shading to smudge them a little, erasing over smudged areas.

Never did it cross David's mind that people didn't know his power, normally. So he didn't noticed when he surprised Kida. Though he had already flashed off at one point on accident, he sort of assumed Kida had remembered. Even though he had, surprising him was going to happen. David didn't mind when Kida commented about how that was his power.

He made his head alone visible and nodded with a blush and a so-so head tilt to show that it sort of was, because he had two. But if Kida didn't get it, then he was fine with that. He didn't like telling people about his other power, considering what had happened when he'd last used it. So he smiled at Kida before turning his head invisible again to continue what he was doing.

<div align=center>Boy, this kid was strange. Perhaps Kida was just amused by his invisibility. He wondered briefly what the time was, he wanted to go home. Or at least to a bar for a few hours, he'd probably end up going home with a guy that had counted on him being an easy high school kid, and he'd learned to play the part well over the years. He couldn't help but wondering what the boy was even doing, nor why he'd made himself invisible. At least when I can see him it looks like I'm doing work. No one could tell him off for not doing work if, technically, he was. Today had been so slow. Kida hadn't even seen the skinny boy that always seemed to have something wrong with him today, a clumsy hypochondriac keeping him busy was better than nothing, besides, he was always friendly. Couldn't tell you his name, though. He remembered his face though, and his complaints.

"What are you doing?" Kida asked, idly. Glancing over to the empty space where David had been and raising an eyebrow. He returned the smile, lifting a hand up to push his glasses back down to his face, blinking once to allow his eyes to readjust to the lenses.</div>

It was normal for people to think that he was strange. David got that a load. Even before he had come to this school. It was part of the reason that the friends he had were his friends. They liked how odd he was and how he couldn't be predicted. Of course, he also spoke a load when he was around his friends from his old school. They always took joy in how you didn't know what he would say next. They got a kick out of him, and he really missed them. But he was here, and so being weird was pretty normal.

David didn't register that Kida not seeing him meant that he wasn't doing work. Well, being there meant he was doing work, really. So, whether he was visible or not was alright with David. He felt more comfortable drawing when Kida couldn't see him. Especially since he'd probably recognize the cut he'd just come in with sitting on the paper in stunningly specific detail. David was pretty good at drawing, though he still had much to improve at, he was told he was good at drawing. He would never boast he was, though.

When asked the question, David turned his head visible again and looked like he was thinking hard. He turned back invisible and flipped to an empty page in his sketch book before turning completely visible and turning the blank sheet to Kida and drawing a circle. He looked up to see if Kida got it. But then he had a circle on his paper and he had to add something to it. He thought about drawing something using the circle, but instead decided he should ask Kida what he was doing. Sure, it was obvious, but he wrote 'you?' inside the circle and turned it back to Kida, tilting his head in curiosity.
