Dick had everything prepared. It had taken him a long time to track down a large amount of 1942 Australian half pennies and it took significant money to do so. There were times when he had to track down a penny that he had given to someone and beg for it back. There were times where he had to buy them back for many times it's original value. There were times where he had to get his father to use clan funds to buy them back in bulk. But now he had a significant amount filling a relatively large bucket to the brim. And as the day turned to night, he was ready to start the crucibles that he would use to melt the pennies down.
Just because he had prepared the items to physically did not mean that he was mentally prepared and he felt the effects of that as he prepared everything to be ready during the night. His hands shook in fear as he finally adjusted the last item that he needed to start. The only thing that he needed to wait for now was Dragomir.
Dick had set up in front of his father's house under a bit of a canopy. The house itself was pretty empty, as his father had left on family business and Dick had set of two chairs, a cooler full of drinks, and a small table next to the method that he had chosen to destroy a large amount of half pennies.
He had dressed appropriately for the occasion as he consciously decided that he probably would ruin his clothes if he were to don his usual attire, so he decided to wear a tank top that showed off his muscled arms, and what seemed to be baggy sweatpants. His hair was more unkempt than usual, but that was more due to his situation than any other thing like a purposefully unkempt hygiene.
He looked at his watch and sighed as he saw that time time became 8 o'clock at night. It was almost time to begin, so he stoked the fire and started to heat up the crucibles in anticipation for the handful of excruciating minutes that was required to to melt down the copper pennies.
"I hope I'll be fine after this."
