Painter's eyes glance up at her when she sighs and he looks at her nervously. Is she struggling with the same thing I am? he wonders to himself, quietly fidgeting with his fingers. Why was this so difficult for him? He knew for a fact he wanted her, but something continued to hold him back. Something inside of himself that was small and scared. However his emotions began to overpower what was stopping him, squashing out the fear which he recognized finally as the fear of being rejected.

"Allie..I.." he cuts off after a second..unsure about what to say.

Her eyes looked up, he was fidgeting. Fear filled her heart, yet her emotions were so strong as well. She knew she loved him deep inside, but fear of losing him after she loved him was too much. But she realized it was too late. She already loved him, so it'd hurt anyway.

She looked down fighting the emotions, she didn't know what he was going to say but didn't want to make her heart crash if it wasn't anything.

He begins searching to search for what to say within himself. He's unsure how to go about saying what he wants to say and isn't sure if she'll shoot him down. With a deep sigh, he decides just to say it. "Allie..I think..I think I love you.." he says quietly, letting it out and closing his eyes, bracing himself for the worst.

She looked down, almost a look of grief overcame her. She trembled lightly a tear slipping down her cheek, she had done the unforgivable. She broke a promise to herself, she promised she'd never let a man come into her life and yet it happened. And now her chances of losing her were higher than ever because her enemy wasn't defeated.

"I don't want you to..." The vision flashed in her head of her parent's fighting for her life against a dragon which created thirty seconds of unsaid words by her. Another tear dripped down her cheek, "I don't want you to... die." She said now knowing she truly loved him, she didn't want him to die. She didn't want to be alone and in pain, she loved him yet so much fear for him.

Painter shakes his head, "I'm not going to die, I promise you I won't." he says to her, unsure about what she thinks because she never directly said anything. He looks down at the ground, beginning to feel rejected and stupid for saying anything. Who was he to fall in love anyways? Nobody wanted to get close enough to him to actually love him.

Tears came from her eyes, "It's all your fault... I'll never be the same." She said looking down, "I... I... feel, the same... about... you." She said stumbling over the words unsure if she sounded like a fool or he'd say he was joking or something. But she truly meant it with her heart, she loved him to the extent she'd be willing to die for him.

He lit up her life since they first met and now she had fallen in love with him. She didn't know how a girl should act she only knew that she was in love with him and it was something she was afraid of. But maybe just maybe it'd turn out not too tragic she hoped.

Painter sighs in relief, no longer feeling like a complete idiot. Oddly, he now felt a different sensation, like things would be different for him from this point. He felt like the past events in his life had just led their way to this point in time. He gently reached out and took her hand in his, intertwining his fingers with hers, smiling at her, "You have no idea how relieved I am to hear you say that.." he says to her.

Her heart leaped, their fingers intertwined she looked at him. Tears in her eyes, followed by love. She didn't know what to say, she didn't know what to do. She only knew she loved him and wanted to be with him, but a part of her was scared to death that something would take him away from her forever.

She squeezed his hand lightly closing her eyes trying to calm herself down. But found this quite impossible, her heartbeat was beating so fast. She never felt so strange before, she didn't want to say anything yet she didn't know what to do.

Painter exhales as she squeezes his hand, "I suppose that you wanting to be in my arms earlier wasn't entirely inaccurate then." he says to her laughing and trying to lighten the mood a little. He looks into her eyes, something he had yet to truly do and finds himself being drawn into their beauty, Amazing..it's like looking into a pair of gems..

She looked at him and smiled the tears had left her eyes, she chuckled biting her lip lightly. "Maybe it wasn't that inaccurate, it would've been more enjoyable if it didn't hurt so much." She said with a light chuckle. She noticed his gaze into her eyes, he seemed so drawn to them she looked back into his a chill running up her spine not from fright but rather from excitement and happiness.

She held his hand a little tighter, she never thought she would fall in love this way. She never thought a friend would turn into something more, and now she had fallen in love with him. No turning back it was done she couldn't undo, nor did she want to.
