Xenia Asgonne
Xenia found herself spending a lot of time in the student lounge or the dorm rooms. She wasn't exactly sure why, but she there quite a bit. She didn't like to walk too far from her dorm if she didn't have to, and it was a great place to sit and play her 3DS while meeting a lot of new people. She didn't talk to a lot of people, per se, but she met them in passing, and was gradually able to recognize more and more of the student body. It made her feel better about living there.
It was no surprise then, that she had spent the majority of that particular Saturday sitting in one of the comfortable chairs on the lounge, mumbling frustrations to her 3DS. She was trying some competitive battling using the lounge's wifi, and wasn't having very much luck. Closing the system, she stood up and stretched, lazily letting her eyes scan the area.
For a Saturday, there were quite a few people there. Many were on their laptops, eating, or simply talking to one another, and almost everyone had a friend nearby. Xenia knew nearly all of them, at least by face, though she hadn't talked to a single one. She tucked her 3DS back into the pocket of her shorts and was about to make an exit back up to her dorm, when she spotted a girl out of the corner of her eye.
She girl was tall, but looked younger than her, and had dark brown hair the seemed to be flowing down her back. Xenia hadn't really ever seen this one before. She had to be new to the school. While talking to people, especially fellow girls, was never really her thing, she knew what it was like to be new to the school, and she was reminded of a kind teacher who had spoken to her on her first day there. She quickly resigned her mission and walked over to the girl.
"Ah, hey," she said. She was never really good at making conversation, but she hoped it would do.
