Everto began to walk slowly towards the door.
"The fire will spread," he said, his voice quite emotionless. Grabbing the boy who's shoe was on fire, he dragged him out of the room with surprising ease. Maybe because the boy was too preoccupied to sruggle.
Everto stopped just out side the door. Smoke was pouring out of it, but Everto dropped the boy. Leaning against the wall, which was growing hot, Everto waited for Marine.
