A small female was seen as she skated through the not yet frozen lake. As she touched the water the spot where her foot hit would freeze and then melt once again as she moved to another spot. She seemed to have be used to skating as she jumped and turned, enjoying herself.

The female was clad in baggy jeans and a long sleeve red shirt with a checkered black one being over it and her well known hat and handcuff earings. Her shoes were on the shore of the lake besides her backpack and a ferret that seemed to be enjoying the outsides.

Rollin felt that familiar chill in the air, meaning that Emerith was nearby. He eagerly trotted around the lake, in his favorite wolven form, and silently glided up to the edge of the lake. He wagged his tail down at the ferret, mentally greeting it, then turned to admire his best friend's skating abilities.

He gave a short howl in greetings, and sat down, wagging his tail, head cocked to the side.

Logan walked down the path and saw a girl skating across the lake, and a ferret and wolf sitting on the shore doing what seemed to be watching. he knew he wasn't goign to make any friends unless he started talkign to people, and he knew some people could change into animals. He walked over about ten feet to the side of the wolf and watched the girl skate across the unfrozen lake. She was good at it.

Emireth heard the howl and lost her balance for a second, yet regaining it the last minute by crouching while still sliding on the ice. She smiled at the wolf and did something that seemed to look like a curtsy, something quite amusing coming from one like Emireth. That was when she caught sight of the other male and moved her head to a side curiously as she skated to the shore.

How long were you watching Roro? God you sneaky little oaf.
She joked and then turned to the new male.

Hey.
She said with a grin.

"Um...hey." he said looking from the girl to the wolf and then back to the girl. "Can it understand you?" he asked thinking it was probably a stupid question.

Rollin pressed his ears back against his head and narrowed his eyes at the use of that old nick-name. Carefully he formed a human throat he could talk with, while retaining the shape of a wolf. He didn't have clothing with him right now, and it wouldn't do to just turn into a naked boy all of a sudden.

"I've been here for a while." His voice was akward but understandable.

Then, Rollin turned to look at the other human by the lake. "Hello." He called, his voice sounding something like a howl.

Emireth nodded at the male.
Yeah he can understand and talk, the problem is to make him shut up when he's in his normal form.
She said with a grin.

I'm Emireth.
She introduced herself.
Better known as Em.
She finished.

Curse you.
She told Rollin.

Why don't you turn to human, it's weird to hear you talk like that.
She whined.

Logan raised an eyebrow when the wolf spoke, "Okay.." he said turnign to the girl, "Hey, I'm Logan." he said looking back at the wolf to makesure he wasn't hearing things.

Rollin shook his head, holding one ear back against his skull in annoyance. "I can't turn into human! I havn't any clothes with me. Might scare off all the animals." He said, laughing.

THen he turned to Logan and smiled what he hoped was a friendly smile. Mostly, though, it was a bareing of sharp teeth. "Hello Logan. I can understand you just fine. I'm human, mostly..." He said with a laugh.

She said with a snicker.

I have an extra shirt in my backpack and some of your clothing there too. God I need to carry everything for you or what?
She said with a smirk.

She turned to Logan to explain.
We went to the same boarding school before this, we were kind of roomates there.
She said with a light shrug. Rollin and her were as close as siblings, that was something no one could deny.
