Ed silently watched, obviously impressed by the girl's display, nodding at the other's abilities. "I'm afraid my gift - gifts - are nowhere near as exciting as yours.." She sighed, looking down for a few seconds and then snapping her head back up with a grin. "I'll show you anyway."

She closed her eyes, hair slowly tightening into curls and face seemingly bubbling, and when she opened her eyes she was an exact replica of Crystal. She glanced over at her, laughing quietly and "I am a mimic." she announced, in a slightly deeper voice, exactly like the older girl's. She shook her head, shrinking a bit until she was back to her normal size and form. "I can also-" She paused a minute, frowning over at a shadow in the corner and drawing a small, flickering bird from it. "control shadows. I'm not good at it, though.. Yet." She shrugged, the shadow bird flying over to her and resting on her shoulder. "How long have all of you been here?"

Ed shook her head, cupping the bird in her hands and suddenly tightening her fists, crushing the shadow. "It's not worth it." She mumbled, barely audible. Be quiet! Ed frowned at herself, eyelids drooping into a passive expression. "I'm new as well."

Ed shifted her jaw from side to side, thinking. "If i'd met them before, yes. Although i'd have to know them very well if i'd want to keep it up for more then a few minutes. Very well." She shivered at the thought, not about to explain to the others. "Can you create ice from air, or do you require actual water?"
