Crystal stood on the stage in the empty ballroom. She was singing. She had a wonderful voice. Very unique. "I'm singing in the rain! Just singing in the rain. What a glorious feeling! I'm happy again."

"And I walk down the lane with a happy refrain, I'm singing just singing in the rain." "Hi!" Allie was smiling she had learned to calm her voice so she didn't go around busting windows...

"Excuse me?" Crystal asked. "But who is Caitlin? I am Crystal. So where is our other mystery singer?"

Ed propped herself up with her hands, feet stuck through the second floor railing and kicking back and forth. She was staring at the girls below her, the only people in the ballroom besides her.

Ed had come into the ballroom to be alone, but it didn't seem to be working. An almost steady stream of students had drifted in and out, some exploring, some dancing, and more then a few singing.

But no one could as sing as nicely as these girls could. And none sang songs Ed knew. Ed swayed her head back and forth to the beat, finally unable to restrain herself and quietly joining in, pitching her voice down until it was an exact mimic of Gene Kelly's. When all the girls below had finished, Ed quieted as well, staring down at them curiously. Did they know each other? Were only certain students allowed to sing along? Would they get mad at her? She pulled her legs up, silently getting up and walking over to one of the chairs by the side of the room where no one would notice her.

Edward froze, turning around and sticking her head through the railing quietly. Was the singing girl talking to her? She quickly glanced around the rest of the room, but no one seemed to be up on the second floor except for her.. Her eyes trailed back to the singing girl, then quickly dropped them so she wouldn't notice their strange coloring. "It's not raining." She announced gravely, retracting her head and walking over to the stairs, finally half-hiding behind a large column at the top. "I'm sorry for singing. You don't have to get mad at me." She half-whispered, playing with the hem of her shirt.

Ed's gaze flashed over to where the voice had come from, and saw the other girl for the first time. Oh. Maybe the singing girl was talking to one of her friends.. But still. Plural, guys. She stuck her head out from her 'hiding spot', misunderstanding the girl's words. "I'm not a guy.. Just because i have a guy's name doesn't make me one!" Oh, and she had been singing like one.. She stepped out from behind the railing to prove it to her, morphing her face just a little bit to make it look more feminine. Hey, anything helps, right?
