Appearance Description: Silje isn't necessarily inhuman looking at first glance aside from the decidedly elvish feature of her long, pointed ears, but certain features about her are certainly beyond the typical, average human woman. Firstly, she's most definitely on the tall side of things, measuring in at six feet and three inches tall. Her build is curvy, to say the least; she's notably busty, with rather wide hips to compliment this, but she also maintains some reasonably toned musculature. Generally, Silje's facial features are decidedly quite feminine and could be described as beautiful in the traditional sense, with somewhat full lips and a petite, gently curved nose with a slightly upturned point. Her complexion is quite fair, a pale cream tone with almost no visible blemishes aside from minor scarring underneath her left eye and across her cheek on the same side, as well as a light scratch across her lower lip and chin.
Her hair is abnormally soft and voluminous, and an extremely light, silvery ash blonde; it's somewhat longer on her left side with the right normally tucked behind her ear. This can easily lead to her overestimating and overworking herself; even so she tends to remain almost singlemindedly focused on her own improvement and the good she's able to do because of that. However, SIlje is by no means impervious to the pressure and stress working herself that hard causes, even if tries her absolute hardest to suppress and ignore it. Above all, she hopes to be a good influence on those around her, in whatever small or large ways she can, and at her core is a generous and nurturing person.
Active Abilities: Blizzard - Just as every elf from her home does, Silje possesses the ability to generate and fully manipulate potentially vast amounts of snow. This snow can be a variety of consistencies, from powdery to tightly packed, and takes almost ten times as long to melt at room temperature. Additionally, this snow is somewhat resistant to melting at temperatures higher than room temperature, and is able to stay frozen in environments up to one hundred and fifty degrees fahrenheit for up to five minutes. However, the amount that she can produce is limited how much water is in the air around her, in a one hundred foot sphere (which is also the maximum range of her manipulation). If there isn't enough usable moisture in the air, Silje can utilize the water stored in her own body to this end, at the risk of potentially dangerously dehydrating herself. Additionally, Silje is able to manipulate pre existing snow normally, and other forms of non magical ice in a much more limited capacity (she's only able to slowly grow or shrink it).
Elvish Lullaby - While singing, as long as she remains relatively, audibly calm, Silje can cause various levels of calm, relaxation, and drowsiness to fall over specific or multiple people within earshot(generally a maximum of 200 feet), excluding herself. The closer they are to her, the more firmly the lullaby takes hold, though proximity doesn't affect the actual strength of the effect. Instead, Silje can currently use this ability at one of three levels. The first is mild euphoria, moderate calm and relaxation, and a small but noticeable measure of drowsiness. The second is more prominent euphoric feelings, intense calm and a sharp drop in aggression, and a moderate desire to sleep. Lastly, and least commonly used, the lullaby can produce extreme, zen-like relaxation and a sense of bliss, accompanied by a strong desire to peacefully sleep that is quite difficult to resist for all but the supernaturally strong of willpower. If they do in fact sleep, the time will generally be proportionate to the level of lullaby used; the first equates to a power nap of 30-40 minutes, the second a regular nap of 1-3 hours, and the last a full, deep slumber. Enhanced Senses - Silje's vision and hearing are both significantly enhanced beyond human capabilities, with her vision almost comparable to that of an eagle and her hearing close to being on par with a wolf's. She is very well adapted to bright light, but struggles somewhat more than a typical human to adjust to seeing in dark spaces. Her auditory sensitivity can also lead to her being overwhelmed by very loud noises.
Cold Resistance - Though not total cold immunity, Silje is extremely resistant to both natural and magical cold, even levels significantly below freezing. Her body temperature is naturally much colder than a human's, and is generally found to be in the fifty five to sixty degrees fahrenheit range. Anything beyond that can technically be considered running a fever, and she's somewhat more sensitive to heat than most humans, though not extremely so.

She was content enough going to school in the nearby human town as her peers did, all of them disguised by charms crafted by the community's sage, and at the same time learned the old skills and accumulated knowledge that had been passed down among the Høytfjell elves for countless centuries. Between blending into and taking part in human society and taking up the duties of a ranger as her particular family had done for essentially as long as their history stretched back, Silje simply couldn't choose. Truthfully, the contemporary education the elves received was mostly meant as a buffer against suspicions any outsiders might harbor, but Silje was genuinely fascinated by their culture to the point that her family considered it an unhealthy obsession.
Knowing that she wouldn't be able to fully throw herself into the human world where they were without raising several red flags, her parents grudgingly made the compromise of allowing her to travel to Manta Carlos, as had been suggested by a visiting scout some years prior. Silje jumped on this opportunity without hesitation, and about a month later she was on the island, attending school for her sophomore year of high school onward. Holding a significant interest in joining the police force after graduation as quickly as possible (as it was the closest occupation to what the duties of a ranger had been like at home), she opted to take the junior cadet program, working at it diligently and successfully finishing it upon graduation. Moving on from then, she now finds herself just two months away from graduating the police academy, and looks hopefully onwards toward a time when she can finally start helping the people of the Island as she's always wanted to.
