Nielle walked into the ballroom. He really wanted to get a feel for the place.

He looked around and sighed. This just depressed him.

This is pathetic...the dance is lonly a little more than two weeks away, and I still don't have a date!

He plunked down on the ground. Curse this shyness!! I can't even talk to myself.

Anisha walkd into the ballroom, looking for a date. She did feel a little ditched because of Jesse saying that he had a date...but then she remembered her past, but she wanted to move on. Why can't I move on??!?!? WHY!??! She saw a guy standing alone in the ballroom, and went up to him. "Hello, my name is Anisha. Hi!"

Nielle looked over. Uh, oh...pretty girl...shy guy....BAD combo.

"Uh, Hi...I...I'm Nielle Sole." He paused, for a little too long. "This is a, um, pretty right place, eh?"

Suddenly a voice close to them, someone having apparently been calmly watching them.
It was Alex Anderson, his face shy and timid despite his tall frame, sandy blonde hair coming down to his shoulders.
"Sorry...to intrude, but I was new and I was wondering...what's this dance you were talking about?"

Nielle opened his mouth to reply to Anisha, when he noticed Alex. Not wanting to seem too shy in front of her, he turned to this boy. "Oh. Well, there's going to be a Winter Dance on the tenth of December. You still have a week or so to get someone, though."
