Maybe he was made to heal, he had his healing magics and lacked any combative powers. So when both his mother and girlfriend got sick, he couldn't help but want to care for both of them.

So Elizabeth walked beside him as they neared the house, he had tried to pulls down her scarf and steal a kiss but she wasn't having any of that, "sure I can't have a kiss?" he asked with a smile.

Kiss or no kiss, he wrapped his arm around her waist and held her close. "Got some hot tea waiting for us," he grinned a bit, "you can take my bed, I'll take the couch sense you know....my mom's there."

They came to the house and opened the door letting her in before following.

Pulling her scarf up further, Elizabeth dodged away from Soren with a small grin, not that he could see it. "No Soren, you're the only one that's not ill, I'm not letting you get ill because you want a kiss." It was slightly muffled by the scarf but still audible. She still leaned into him a little when he wrapped his arm around her waist and smiled, shaking her head at his comments. "You say that as if we have sex every time we're in the same room, just because we'd be sharing a bed.." She shook her head, trailing off. "At least you'll be less likely to get ill, but are you sure you don't want me to have the sofa? Its your house and room after all."

Shiariel was dressed in a baggy shirt and sweats. The shirt use to be Soren's father's but she had only ever worn it once they were together so it was one thing that she could see of his that didn't cause her to fall to pieces. She still had most of His stuff in boxes in her closet, she had barely been able to get them here without finding herself crying. Shaking her head Shiariel realized her mind had wandered off again.

But here she was standing in the kitchen pouring some of the ready tea that Soren had made. She took a sip and she felt it sooth her sore throat, hopefully it would do something for her headache. "I'm a terrible mom..." Shiariel whispered to herself as she felt a tear roll down her cheek. First her husband died and she nearly lost her son, now here she was sick and her son had to take care of her. She remembered a time when she needed to nurse her son back to health. It was when she heard the door being unlocked that she wiped her tears away and tried to put a smile on her face.

"Nope, my bed is yours," he said as he ushered her in, he wasn't going to let his sick girlfriend sleep on a couch. "Make yourself at home," he noticed his mom sipping tea.

Smiling a bit he walked over to her, "feeling better?" he asked hugging her, a bit of concern on his face. He poured Elizabeth a cup of tea and refilled his mom's cup, "tell me if you need anything," they bickered at fought like most parents and their teenage sons, but they loved each other.

He gave Elizabeth the cup and quickly kissed her cheek, "you'll both be ok.....I mean I could heal you both if you'd let me."

Elizabeth accepted the tea, smiling weakly at Shiariel as a hello. She took a sip and went over to the couch, sinking down into it, fatigued. "No!" She replied, as loud as she could without hurting her throat further away. "If you heal us, you get it and-" she paused, coughing "and you really don't want it," she finished weakly, leaning back into the sofa and sipping the tea again. She was grateful Soren and his mum were okay with her staying here, it would be nice to have some company while she was ill but she really hoped Soren wouldn't catch it.

Shiariel could only shake her head as her son said that they should just let him heal them. She wasn't entierly up to date on what his healing powers could do, but she didn't want something bad to happen to him. "Soren, hun this is a magical disease. I'm more worried that I personally am sick but am beyond grateful that the Heavens are making it so you aren't getting it. I don't know what I'd do if you caught something I couldn't take care of for you."

Looking at the fridge Shiariel's mind wandered a bit. "I wonder if we should make a casseroul today. No... Chowder... some Chowder sounds really good right now. But we don't have everything we need right now maybe I should g...." Shiariel blinked a few times and leaned on the counter. "By Light's Glory I'm hating this part of it. Can't keep myself thinking straight longer then a minute or so."

Soren sat beside Elizabeth and wrapped his arm around her waist, "don't worry, I'm sure you'll both be fine." He snugged her close, he wasn't going to let the virus keep him from showing his girlfriend affection.

He looked to his mom, concern on his face, "don't worry, I'll take care of dinner," he was going to take care of them both. "You two just rest, drink tea and watch movies," he said with small smile.

Quickly kissing Elizabeth's cheek again he rose from his seat and headed into the kitchen, "how about I make a homemade pizza."

Elizabeth listened quietly to the conversation, her head hurting too much for her to do much else. She was glad that Soren was making sure that his mother didn't feel the need to take care of them because Elizabeth was here. She felt bad for Soren having to look after them though, she felt as if she was getting in the way really. Not unwelcome exactly, but not comfortable enough with his mother yet to not feel odd about staying there. "Pizza... sounds lovely." She leaned back on the couch again, sipping her tea.
