It seemed like it was Nathan's turn to act off, the young vampire definitely had things on his mind. The last few days he'd seem distant, less talkative. Which he wasn't big on talking, but he talked a lot with Amber.

So he'd lay, kinda hanging off of his bed, his homework finished and tossed to the side. He'd tap his claws on his sketchbook, a distant look on his face.

It was then that Amber said something he didn't quite catch. "Sorry....what was that babe?" he'd ask, looking over at her. @Pallas

"I was asking if there was something that was up with you. You hardly said more than few sentences since I've been here babe." repeated Amber as she sat adjacent to him on his bed as one of her spidery legs lifts up and taps claw on noggin like how kid would tap a fish bowl.

Normally Nathan was a bit more elated to have her come over but he just seemed to have been in some sort of slump. Hardy spoke of anything aside from a few things regarding their homework. She wasn't sure what it was but hoped that it wasn't her own fault somehow.

"Uh....just..," he'd sigh, "just something's been on my mind." He'd scratch at his cheek. "Talked to an older vampire the other day and he said some things that....I don't know....bothered me I guess, can't stop thinking about them."

He'd sit up proper, leaning his back against his bed. "Do....do you think everyone deserves forgiveness?" he'd ask her. "Even when they do something really really bad?" he'd ask her.

"Like....maybe it makes me a bad person," he'd shrug, "but forgiveness seems so much harder than people say." He'd sigh, leaning his head back against his bed.

Amber listened to Nathan attentively, reminded of her own period of lull when thoughts of becoming just like Pandora plagued her. Now it looked like it was her turn to comfort him over whatever this other vampire has been telling Nathan.

"Forgiveness? Well... I think most people deserve a second chance but I guess that that depends what it is that is to be forgiven. So actions are just unforgivable." answered Amber.

She always looked in the best for people though even she knew that there were some people whom actions cannot be forgiven.

"Forgive or not, it doesn't make you a bad person. Far from it." Amber would then lean over, looking down at Nathan from above as she asked "So... why is that it so hard for you to forgive? Not judging just wondering is all."

He'd listen, humming in thought a bit as he did. "I....I never told you this but...," he'd pause, "I....didn't choose to be turned." It'd been forced on him, by someone he thought was his friend, and he'd done it just to see what would happen.

Nathan would continue. "I talked to the vampire I met about things and it came up," he'd sigh, running his fingers through his spikey hair.

"He...he said I should just forgive the vampire that turned me," he didn't think he could ever forgive him, the way being turned had affected him.

Amber perk up her head though she wasn't too surprise to learn that Nathan was turned against his wishes as it was something she long suspected. In fact she was more surprised that he was actually coming forward and telling her directly as it wasn't subjected he been keen to discussion. Sympathy however turned to shock, then to outrage as Nathan then brought up how another vampire told him that he should forgive the vampire that turned him.

"W-what? No! No if anything it's that vampire who turned you that should be begging for your forgiveness." Amber shook head in disgust, then moved herself on top of Nathan's legs as he rested against the bed with a determined look on her face.

"Whoever told you that you should forgive clearly didn't understand the circumstances. I know you don't like talking about it but even I picked that you becoming a vampire was something that was forced upon you... and that it was no accident."

Amber would then reach out to to stroke Nathan's hair, smiling warmly to him.

"Instead... you should forgive yourself... you think that you are somehow a bad person because of bad things that happened to you. I've seen your heart, you are a better person than any of them hope to be."

He'd quietly listen to her, it was heartwarming hearing her say those things. "He seemed to underestimate it, still said I should forgive," he'd say with a sigh, but really sure what to think of that.

Nathan would place his hand on her cheek. "Thank you," he'd say with a tiny smile, "I know I haven't told you a lot about what happened then." She'd no doubt heard rumors about it all though. "Its just not easy to talk about."

Leaning in he'd give her a quick kiss. "I still sometimes see him at school....," he'd say with a sigh, "he doesn't say anything to me though." He hadn't turned him in, had been so broken with so many issues that it just never happened.

"I know... just... take it at your own pace. Talk about when you feel you are ready." said Amber, fingers still in his hair as she gently stroke his head. As he leaned in for the kiss, she too leaned in to receive it.

"Hrmm? You still do?" piped up Amber as she recoiled her head back, furrowing a frown and felt a sinking feeling in her stomach.

"I..." Amber was stumped as to what to say next, biting her lower lip to buy herself a second before she then asks "... how does that make you feel?"

"I.......," that question threw him off, he wasn't really sure how to answer it. "I don't know," he'd say with a sigh, running his fingers they his hair. "It's....it's really weird."

He'd quietly think a brief moment before continuing. "He just...smirks...then walks off," he'd close his eyes, "guess you could say....I sorta have a small panic attack."

Nathan would open his eyes and look at her. "So...I don't know," he'd shrug, "I don't really know how to feel about any of it."

Amber sits back to give Nathan some room as he gets up. She held her breath as he mentioned having small panic attacks and could feel a knot in her stomach. Just as Violet reached out and told her that everything will be alright, she wanted to do the same for Nathan yet... how can she tell him that when Nathan's tormentor walks within the school halls unpunished?

"Oh hun... I... I don't know what to say either..." meekly replied Amber as she out a defeated sigh.

"I doesn't make sense that he can just... walk around after what he did to you... have you even brough this up with the school? Or... even tell anyone aside from me?"
