Amaya had mostly stopped listening after she'd gotten the pages back and stored them away safely so that she could re-write them later. After that, as they went around picking up their supplies (as it turned out, everything they would need was in the store after all) Amaya's mind turned back to Priestess. Their first meeting had been.... awkward, to say the list. The things Priestess did, the things she said... she'd passed it off later as the insane ramblings of a person delirious with the symptoms of a serious medical condition, but that was only after Yuki had pulled Priestess aside and had a private conversation with her.

This, of course, took place on a morning where Amaya had gotten up early and snuck into Yuki's bedroom to try and surprise him with a breakfast she'd managed to make, even if it wasn't done very well, only to be greeted by the sight of him naked with another woman in his hotel room. It was what that naked woman did next that caused Amaya to seriously dislike her.

The entire time Amaya had spent thinking, it was as if storm clouds had been building up behind her face. Now, Amaya scowled at memory, feeling the anger welling up, and without really paying attention to what she was doing, suddenly turned and punched the nearest thing to her with the memory of her first meeting of Priestess. That something fortunately happened to be a display of stuffed animals. The one Amaya had subconsciously punched just happened to be a cat. She looked down at it, glowering, her teeth bared, her lips twitched, and then she stomped on its plush head with tears in her eyes. She pulled out her notebook and quickly scrawled down, Don't stare at Priestess's right arm. After that, she took out the envelope with the list and the prepaid credit card that anybody could use and shoved them towards Malek before she turned on a heel and stormed off to go wait outside so she could collect herself and calm her temper.

Malek just stared and watched....all the while trying to figure out what happened. Don't look at her right arm? But why did she suddenly get angry? Did I do something wrong? Malek shook his head. He would apologize later but for now it looked like he was going to have to finish getting everything himself. Now what did father say? Malek's mind drifted back to dark time....the years the purge was beginning. His father laid their in all his scaly glory. His voice boomed across the cave. I must teach you now Malek. One of our most important rules is the rule of love. Be wary of your first kiss. When you kiss someone by accident or by affection your souls will be tied. Your souls are now destined to become one, which will happen when you and your mate decide to do the ritual. It does not matter if you love them or if you do not for your souls will tie once you kiss. If you ever kiss another besides your mate you must be punished, first you would have to re-declare your love to them and apologize for the deed. But after that it is up to your mate how you shall be punished. It isn't.......unheard of that the tieing was broken but it is extremly unwise, for that ritual is long and full of dangerous deeds.

Malek replayed that one moment from the memory over and over again souls are now destined to become one. Malek went red thinking about what that meant. That means.....I would have to peform the ritual with Amaya someday........the ritual with Amaya. He shook his head, there was no time to think about that and he had already gotten everything he needed. He paid for everything and walked out the door with a bag filled with everything they needed. He began to glance around looking for Amaya, soon finding her.

While Amaya had been outside, she'd been working on a trick Yuki had shown her long ago for centering herself: writing down her thoughts on a piece of paper. So, writing in her notebook, she'd put down,

Malek is
Priestess= like Wyrm, but more dangerous
Has a second offensive magic
Wyrm says Priestess ex-Mercenary
Wrath Sloth Pride Lust Greed Envy Gluttony
Innocence Fear Desire Motivation Dedication Perception Affection
Priestess is

That was as far as Amaya wrote down before she stopped. Neither Wyrm nor Priestess had ever actually said anything for certain, and as she had long since learned from being around Yuki, it wasn't a good idea to just think something was supposed to mean what it sounded like without having it actually confirmed. Yes, Priestess had at first claimed to know who Amaya really was, among other things happening during their first meeting, but then she could have been lying, and shortly after she said she was mistaken anyway. Yuki refused to talk about it whenever Amaya brought it up. Still, he'd become a little more paranoid of Amaya's safety after they'd first met Priestess. For about a year, Amaya had thought it was because Priestess was probably an escaped mental patient who'd decided to stalk Amaya for whatever reason, but half a year ago, Yuki had mentioned that he'd been in contact with Priestess for a while and that he believed it was time to return to where Yuki was from, Manta Carlos. So, Priestess, apparently, wasn't an enemy, at least not one Yuki was worried about. In that case, Amaya had absolutely no idea who Priestess really was.

That was about as much time as she had for thinking, because then Malek came out of the store. Amaya wasn't sure why, but ever since that night she'd had her dream and woken up with a hangover, she'd realized she'd been nicer to him than she normally would have. It was something she'd gradually come to realize since yesterday, reading the journal, but Malek made her feel a little better about things. Priestess, on the other hand..... Priestess, her being around, the thought gave her chest pains. She wasn't something Amaya liked thinking about, anyway, because for some reason, it made her sad, angry, scared, confused.... created the same kind of pain Amaya felt now, but, less, because Amaya didn't think she'd see Priestess again, or was hoping not to. Amaya supposed, somewhere in her mind, she'd already realized and acknowledged that Priestess would show up sooner or later, and that something was bound to happen, but it was only now, that Priestess was here, that Amaya had realized how much she'd hoped to put it off for as long as she could. The pain was.... something that made her angry, and anxious, and perhaps scared and sad, but it wasn't something Amaya knew about, why it was there or what kind of pain it was. Whoever Priestess really was, Amaya wanted nothing to do with her. Clearly, though, that wasn't going to be an option any longer, and looking back, Amaya realized now Yuki had been suggesting Amaya should meet with Priestess for a couple of months, but not by mentioning Priestess by name.

So, when Malek appeared, Amaya, her head down, she did what somehow she knew in her mind would help, if only a little. She didn't know why it would help, or how, but it would. So, she walked over to Malek, placed her arms around him, and embraced him, without a word, just letting herself stand there for a few minutes with her head on his shoulder. Her notebook was lying open to the page she'd been writing on nearby on a display of ice salt bags.

Malek arms jerked back slightly when she embraced him. Then suddenly, he returned the embrace. "It's okay October. It's okay. Everything will be fine October." A voice came from his head asking asking a question to him. Why do you care so much.....why do care about what happens to Amaya so much. Malek thought of his answer, giving it complete thought. She's the only person I have left. The world has taken away everything else I ever had. Mother. Father. The clan. Everything. I don't want her to be taken away as well. He was on the verge of tears but he couldn't cry. It was best to stay strong to support her. Out of the corner of his eye he saw the open notebook. He turned his head slightly to read it, realizing what this was about.

After standing there for a few moments, Amaya separated, then grabbed her notebook and put it away. She took Malek's hand and led the way back to Seven Points. They were just about to the door for the internet cafe when it opened and out came Priestess. She'd taken off her coat and her traveling cloak, and she was now dressed in just yoga pants and a black bra. Her tail was twitching behind her, her ears were straight up, and the tattooed right arm, ending at the stump of the elbow, was entirely visible. She looked at them for a moment before offering greeting. "October." That greeting sounded emotionless. "Plaything." Malek's greeting, however, was made with a cold sneer and a disgusted growl that Priestess made absolutely no attempt to disguise. Priestess waved her left hand toward the internet cafe. "Yuki showed me to my room earlier, but wouldn't stay around for my personal entertainment. He views you as too important, October. As well he should. He's waiting for you inside." Without another word, she walked past them, but stopped after a few steps. "Oh, right. October's new charity case. Fitting that I found you squirming on a street corner, don't you think? After all, that's where people put their trash, isn't it?"

As soon as she said that, Amaya immediately wrapped her arms around Malek in a possessive hug, glared at Priestess, then kissed Malek fully on the list. The mixed look of shock, rage, and disgust on her face could be said to be priceless to some. With a snarl, Priestess spat in their direction and hissed, "At least I can walk on my own two feet. Anybody who would struggle so easily has no place by Amaya's side!" With a last yowl of rage, she turned and stalked off toward the entrance to the apartments, her tail curved upward into an S-shape but nearly motionless with her rage.

Inside Seven Points, Yuki was sitting behind the counter with a new black eye and several bruises on the right side of his face, holding a bag of ice to them.

Malek was on the verge of punching her, that was untill Amaya wrapped he arms around him. "Octo-" He was cut off by a pair of lips meeting his. He didn't fight it, he just closed his eyes and let it happen. After a few minute Malek pulled back, taking Amaya's hand and walked into Seven Points. When he saw Wyrm Malek just stared with amazment. "Then priestess picks on everyone? I'm going to be honest I was going to punch you myself when we came back but it seems that I've been beaten to that honor."

Yuki smiled when Malek came in. "Picking on me? Not at all. Priestess and I were merely having a minor dispute about October's choice of company in the privacy of her apartment. As I'm sure Miss May has already told you, she and Priestess have quite a long history, at least according to Priestess, starting all the way back when Priestess still had both of her arms. Interestingly enough, it was not her dangerous line of work, but rather her own sister that tore Priestess's arm off at the elbow. Quite a curious thing."

Amaya rolled her eyes and took the bag from Malek, taking the throat medication out first before handing it to Yuki, who raised an eyebrow and said nothing. "Ah. I understand. Very well, I shall deliver these to Miss Ishiki right away, then. Though I doubt she'll be overly excited to see me again. Miss May, please stay in the shop whilst I soothe things over, as I can only imagine what you might have done now." With a sigh, Yuki stood up and told the assistant on the clock that "October is in charge, if anything important comes up" and then hurried out the door. Amaya watched him go with a frustrated expression, then wrote down in her notepad and showed it to Malek, Yuki to try for p---y.

Malek sighed, Really? What does he see in that woman? Malek shuffled slightly, he didn't know if he should leave or if they needed anything else. "Look October, I'm really sorry for getting mad. I know I said it before but I just felt really bad for it. It's going to be alright with Priestess. She really seems to only hate me and that's fine. I've had plenty of hate on me over the years." Malek shuffled again looking directly at Amaya. "So. Should I just go? It seems to me I fufilled the promise."

Amaya frowned. Oh, hellll no. Uh-uh. You're not leaving with THAT kind of attitude about what's going on. She grabbed out her notepad and quickly started writing, though at first she didn't know what to write.

Priestess lost arm in
Not Malek, Priestess thinks
Priestess told Bear

Priestess past has messy love thing. Thinks Bear+Malek couple. Play MMO with me?

(OOC: I plan on ending the thread with them MMO'ing together until evening. Seems like as good idea as any.)

Malek smiled soflty "Well with what we've done anyone would believe that. Sure why not? I've never actually played an MMO before so I think it will be fun." Malek smiled even wider now. He always wanted to play one of these 'video games' but he either never had the money on him or got kicked out of the city before he could get one.
