Name: Shin Zhujiang
Age: 592
Birthday: August 4
Gender: Male
Species: Mountain Dragon
Category: Staff
Class: High School
Subject/Work: Geology/Geography

Appearance Description: Shin is practically a giant. Standing at a towering seven feet with over Three- hundred pounds of muscle, making him a perpetual mountain of flesh. He has nice brown eyes, and nice well kept brown hair with killer sideburns. His clothes vary from traditional Chinese clothes to your standard casual wear.

His dragon form is quadrupedal and serpentine. In terms of height he stands around fifteen feet, lengthwise however, he stretches just over the length of a football field. His scales are grey with the faintest hint of green and somewhat resemble feathers. He also sports antler-like horns and a mane. His body also sports fin-like appendages that seem to help with flight.

Personality Description: Despite having a rather intimidating appearance, Shin’s actually a nice guy. The term gentle giant is probably best applied to him. He has a rather polite but forward approach to things as he’s not afraid to speak his mind when needed. He genuinely cares for anyone considered family or friends and remains deeply loyal to them. He has a general fondness for cute things, and oddly enough is terrified of bugs, spiders in particular. This fear has resulted in walls being broken down before. He has a decent sense of humor and a distinct booming laugh. Actually his voice tends to carry even when using an inside voice.
It should be noted that Shin is no simple brute having devoted his education to studying metallurgy and geography and putting that knowledge to good use. He’s a clever strategist and generally thinks things through and factors in any reasonable variables. He prefers reason over haste but this doesn’t mean he can’t make snap decisions under pressure.

Active Abilities:

Mountain Dragon: Shin's physical abilities effectively double so long as he's standing at least at the base of a mountain. This remains true so long as he's on the mountain itself. This effect remains gets cut in half moving around a half mile out. And further moving a full mile out, he returns to his base level abilities.

Strong roar(Dragon form only): Shin lacks any sort of elemental breath, instead he has a powerful roar that generates a shockwave that’s capable of shattering solid rocks with the sheer force. He can employ this offensively or defensively as it can divert projectiles aimed at him. The farthest distance his roar’s full effects can be felt from is about fifteen feet. Naturally the closer you get, the harder it hits and it weakens as you get further away. Even if you don’t get hit with the shockwave you may want to bring ear plugs. Repeated use causes his voice to become hoarse.

Shifting: Shin can shift between his human and dragon forms at will. His dragon form is quadrupedal in nature, his serpentine body makes gaining any real momentum while on the ground a bit tricky. To make up for this he’s capable of flying/floating in the air as many eastern dragons do. Due to his earth dragon heritage he is also capable of burrowing into the ground in his dragon form and moving at high speeds underground. His scales are as hard as iron, and his talons can tear steel. Due to his immense size Shin has taken to partial shifting. Such as growing scales, claws, and periodically full body parts.

Passive Abilities:
Senses:
Shin possesses superhuman senses of hearing, smell and sight. While the first two senses are on par with wolves, his sense of smell is on par with a hawk's. Any sort of strong overwhelming stimulus to any of these senses can disorient or harm him.

Superhuman physique: Shin can easily lift up to four tons and run up to forty mph in his human form. In spite of his size he is much more nimble than one would expect him to be.

Speed: In his dragon form, Shin can fly through the air at speeds up to 200 mph, and tunnel at roughly 100 mph.

Weaknesses: While he can handle wading through water, however he's notably more sluggish in water. Going further, he cannot swim in deep water because he sinks... even in his dragon form. He is very susceptible to lightning. As one can imagine the combination of the two former elements can make for an even more potent and damaging combination, lethal even.

Resources: He does receive financial backing via stipend from his clan. They are also on call should he need more direct forms of assistance. He’s a teacher at Starlight Academy.

Biography: Shin is the second born child in the Zhujiang house. He was actually a rather small and scrawny child initially, and as such he was directed more towards educational pursuits. Though he did receive basic combat training. This all changed when he hit puberty and started growing, and he shot right up. His combat training pressure ramped up to match the pressures of his regular education. The result was a strong fighter who also happened to be very knowledgeable in various academia. His specialty generally leans towards geology, and geography. After traveling his world for some time, he came to this plane of existence. After traveling for a while he found his way to Manta Carlos. He currently works for Starlight Academy as a teacher.
