Sheep Tipping

As Ai watched he began to show her some of the things his power could do and to Ai it was stunning. She watched with a sort of younge innocence that is usually seen in small children. "That's amazing!" she said with a twinkle in her eyes as she looked at him.

Then she blushed as she looked down "not like my own abilities..." She mumbled. She liked her Powers, and she loved her siblings. But she got jealous of other people's powers easily.

"Oh it's not rude...well, I can borrow the abilities of my siblings...what you saw was me borrowing my brothers. It makes me hear better and I'm more agile when I do so..." She blushed a little again, talking about it made her a little embarrassed. It wasn't like what he could do and shoot energy of of his hands.

"You seem to be doing well enough with your small talk...im the one thats making it awkward..." It was about then that they reached the front of Mini Minos House. Inside it was one large room a bit scaled up for larger customers but with a couple normal sized seating areas here and there.

It seemed to be a bit busy today when a walked in. Though no one was in line at the moment so she walked up a small ramp that allowed her to see over the counter at the big minotaur in back. "Hi Dà Niúshì! I see your quite busy today!" she had to raise her voice a little so she could be heard over the drone of the crowd.

The bull Minotaur looked over his shoulder at Ai as he was cutting fruit dexterously. "All thanks to you blessing my shop so often Love. I'm assuming you want your usual?" Ai nodded indicating that was of course what she wanted.

"Oh and Dà Niúshì! I came with a friend, is that ok?" The bull nodded "Of course little one." as he continued to work preparing dishes. Then turning around Ai looked to Aedan. "He can make anything you want."

Both Ai and the minotaur grinned at his statement. Mainly because every new person who walked in only asked for a salad thinking they were getting leafy lettuce and maybe a smattering of other vegetables in a bowl. Not in Dà Niúshì's domain. "Coming right up." and with that the big bull finished the chopping he was doing to go through a glass door to the enchanted greenhouse in back.

Ai only giggled a little bit as she motioned for Aedan to follow her to a 'bar' seating area. Once there she scrambled up the seat to sit on the stool. It made her feel tall so she liked sitting here on occasion. She still held a devilish smirk on her face and waited for Aedan to sit before speaking. "You're in for a treat. Dà Niúshì takes that phrase as a challenge to his cooking skills."

Dà Niúshì was back with a cornucopia of different vegetables and fruits in baskets under his arms and even one hanging from one of his big hornes. Some of the patrons with a good view of the kitchen writes down as they to fit the same devilish smirk in their faces as Dà Niúshì seemed to be everywhere at once. "I do want to let you know as well... I'll let your closest kin know of your passing."

Then almost as if timed Dà Niúshì put down a vertitable small garden infront of Aedan. While a more tame plate of hays and grass was put next to Ai. "One 'Simple Salad' for the new guy." The bull said before turning to Ai. "and of course the Grazer Special. Enjoy you two."

Once Dà Niúshì walked away Ai leaned over and whispered to Aedan "You don't have to finish it but try at least a bite of everything. The 'Simple Salad' is the first teir on the Hanging Garden food challenge here. The only rule is you can't leave your seat during the challenge."

Ai pointed to a wall off to the side with only one picture. "I heard the only one that was able to finish teir one was Dà Niúshì's wife Mentora. He said she was pretty much in a coma for the next two days afterwords. But well you know, minotaurs have like four stomachs so...yeah. It's really good though. Most people here have eaten it a least once even me. enjoy it." She then proceeded to fill up a piece of flat bread with her food and eat it like a fajitas as she watched him expectantly.

Ai stayed quiet for a while trying to think of something to say next but nothing came to mind, so she ate her food and watched Aedan try to find food that was familiar to him in the large mass of greenery and fruit.

Remembering when she herself was eating it she pretty much liked the taste of all of it only proving more to her that Dà Niúshì was a miracle worker. In between bites of food she found something else to ask her rescuer. "Hey Aedan, what grade are you in at the Academy?"

Nodding Ai took another bite of her food before answering. "10th, same as you. Though I don't have anything quiet as definite as you for what I want to do. I'm thinking maybe going into a biology of some sort but... Yeah, I'm still a little unsure on that even..." Ai wasn't able to suppress a blush at that.

Seeing as how Aedan had a future planned for himself while she was still flipping through ideas of what she thought might be good for her. "You enjoying the salad?"
