"The same....equal?" that concept was unheard of for him, or at least so distantly heard that it was basically. "That is......odd...yes," he'd been low level, almost considered less than his person by his people because of the way he looked, how distant his relation to the original fallen was.

He'd tilt his head, "good? They are good?" another strange concept, even stranger than the first. "Demons are not known for being good creatures," he should know, he was a demon, a soldier demon, he'd grown to dislike himself and his people. "But this place is very different....hmm....so perhaps so the normal is different."

Vos would tap his chin, perhaps reaching out to the city wasn't a bad idea, perhaps it'd be safe here. "Yes, yes....perhaps...yes," he'd nod, "perhaps this island can be good."

The demon would return his focus to her, "you have told me much," he'd say with a nod, "information deserves something in return." He'd open his bag, "one of catch perhaps?" he was good at hunting, and he believed she deserved payment.

Liliana was aware of the idea that all demon were evil. It was a very Narrow Reality concept though, and she couldn't help but wonder if he came from beyond the Veil. He didn't look like he was from there, but then again, lots of things existed beyond the island that she had no idea about.

"No, that's fine. Thank you though," she stated hesitantly, quickly hiding her obvious discomfort too when he offered her a dead rabbit from his bag. "And you don't need to thank me. I really didn't tell you anything you couldn't find out yourself," she told him truthfully.

Someone turning down free food was something he found odd, he wondered if she suspected poison. He'd of course meant no harm, and took no offense so he'd simply close his bag. The island and it's people seemed odd to him indeed.

"I've perhaps bothered you enough with my questions," he'd say, a bit of humor in his voice. "I thank you for the information, and apologize for interrupting your practice," he guessed that he needed to improve his communication skills, they'd become lacking after going into exile.

"Now I'll take my leave," he'd give a bow, "you can find me in these woods often, you may find me if you ever wish too." She'd answered his questions, he supposed he could return the favor to some extent if she wished it.

"You haven't bothered me with your questions. Not at all," Liliana said a little more kindly and not as suspicious of Vos. "I just don't require payment for answering," she told him as she shifted her bow to the other side of her body.

And when he bade her farewell, saying that Liliana could find him in the forest if she was ever looking for him, caused her to wrinkle her brown slightly when she finally realised what he was saying, "You don't actually live in the forest, do you?" she asked, "It's not the safest place to be, you know." she told him, thinking about all the somewhat dangerous creatures that made the forest their home.

He'd chuckle a bit, "I assure you I'm quite safe," he'd tilt his head as he spoke. "Most of the animals are harmless, the wolves can be troublesome, but they keep their distance as long as their territory isn't disturbed," he'd had to save a child from pack, thankfully said child wasn't hurt.

"And it has a good amount of food," he'd nod, "rabbit and fish have been my main source, and there's plenty of springs for water." It was certainly a much easier place to live than the shadow planes, his exile into that wasteland had been incredibly unpleasant and difficult.

Vos would him in thought, another question springing into his mind. "Living in the city does sound interesting though....so many people," he'd chuckle, "must see some interesting things." He'd been becoming interested in the city as time went on, though he was content living in the woods for now.
