Seamstress Of The Dark Arts

With a yawn Kaya sat up from her slouched position at her draft desk where she could make rough sketches of anything she was putting in making near by where a couple of finished products for display. Recreations only and not with any of the personal touch she normally placed into her work. Her Kimomo from the festival the previous year and the replica of Live's hoodie she only just finished and gave her friend. She hadn't seen Live this past month but she had a ton of planning that she had done just for today.

With a smile she enfolded the shadows around her forming a simple but elegent gown of shimmering night scape. Similar but distinct to her gown she wore for the masquerade. A lot had transpired in her last year then probably had been the rest of her life. But today she claimed the last nail of independence from her father. With a wave of her hand a dark banner eminated starlight reading 'Grand Opening' under the beautiful scrollwork proclaiming it as 'Dark Art Fashion'.

With that she turned around to the semi bustle of people going about their day. Still feeling the looks that were pointed her way as this being a store owned by a demoness she didn't know how well her first morning and day were going to turn into but she still had hope that someone would show up. If anything just out of curiosity. Kaya smiled one last time before calmly walking back into the store front she had asked for a a graduation present from her father.

Humming to herself Kaya worked a little bit on her Display pieces, adding a detail here another detail there. It didn't seem to take to long before Kaya felt the Shadow ward she placed be disrupted slightly acting like the ringing of a bell to her which made the demoness of Fashion turn around with a warm smile seeing her first customer. "Ah welcome to Dark Arts Fashion. My name is Kaya, owner of this humble shop how might I assist you this fine morning?" It was just then that Kaya's brain caught up to her initial burst of warmth from her first customer.

This one had a wolf's ears and a Wolf tail...and even though they were still a teen...probably not 4 years younger then her she couldn't help but think to herself mentally. 'Oh my dark lord...he is absolutely ADORABLE!' Though this probably didn't show on her face for she made sure to not give away her new need to hug this teen, though as she looked him up and down she did notice a distinct lack of fashion with his average yellow hoodie and jeans.

"Oh my dear, this isn't going to do at all." She said as in a couple of smooth motions she was behind the boy putting a hand between his shoulder blades and another on his shoulder. "We must find you something better to wear!" She said as she tried to direct the young man towards the raised section of floor with 3 mirrors and around the mirrors was runes of a shadowy nature, possibly intimidating to most but to Kaya it was a harmless altar for her Art.

Once they reached their destination at the raised section of the floor he stopped at the edge of the platform and using the mirrors and runes in the altar she was able to see all around the young man as she flicked her hands into the air and as if she was pulling gently on the strings of reality she began to pull shadows out of another dimension. This wasn't going to be anything perminent but this would give her a feel for what would work best for her first client.

It seemed though this one was curious about her shop and asked her a question, asking if she ran the shop by herself. Visibly shrugging in her elegant dress she was still concentrating on what possibilities were in store for what she was going to do for this young man. "You could say that. As far as I know, other then myself there is only one other that has the possibility of being a Shadow Weaver...or well has control over shadows any way." Kaya didn't know if Live would really like her talking about her while she wasn't around so Kaya was going to refrain from naming said other shadow manipulator for the time being.

'Though I guess if I did well enough then I could hire on additional help...though I'll find out what sort of load I'll be handling in the future...' Kaya thought to herself as she flickered through a couple of hoodie, T-shirt and button ups for this gentleman. "If you don't mind me asking actually I don't think I've seen you around the Island before. Are you a new student up at the school?"

"Well if you haven't gotten it yet welcome to the island." Kaya said with a friendly tone and smile as she got a few more ideas in her head as to what to make for her client. "The schools nice and I've found that most people around here are accepting of a lot."

Giving a second to settle the proper ideas in her head she lowered her hands placing a hand on her elbow as she put a finger to her cheek. "with how much its going to cost it depends on if you want any special features." Giving a second to move back to her desk Kaya pulled out a clipboard to take notes.

"now the base clothing for a single article, such as a shirt or pants is about 50 bucks. The cloth is going to be about silk or Egyptian Cotton level depending on preference. Bullet resistance is an aditional 100 bucks, outerwear such as a winter jacket is 60 bucks... Any pattern I do will take some time. Just the shirt I can do in a single session we can do today." Kaya said not really looking up from her clipboard.

"Anything additional such as shape changing shape or size, possibly other things will add aditional sessions which we can schedule for a latter date. So, what can I make for you?" With a friendly smile still on her lips she looked to the young man with a small gleam in her eye. She was eager to use her skills and this was her first client she was having in her new shop.

Nodding as she walked around the raised section of floor writing everything down and doing the nessessary calculations on how much time it would take to do the outfit. The material fabrication itself she could do in her spare time and that was the plan and she even had a good amount set aside just in case. however having it be both bullet resistant up to a 9 millimeter grade weapon and have it be able to change shape would be a problem if this boy would change into anything non humanoid.

"Alright so far that will be about 9 hours of work which we can schedule around when you can come in. I just need you there so I can get everything attuned to you. Now this is going to be what really makes the point. I need to know what you can change into, anything non humanoid could add a lot of time onto the creation of it. Also, is it going to be a T-shirt or a button up?" Not many people really cared but it did change the style Kaya could use to make the shirt look nice.
