"Candle?" Monday called out from the backroom as he dug out some old mirrors that he had carefully wrapped and stashed away in a closet. "Could you help me, please?" Monday continued as he placed mirror after mirror, still wrapped in clothes and sheets, against the far wall. He had a plan, and hopefully, it would work. Hopefully, he'd be able to finally find something, anything, that might lead them to the source of this crazy snowfall.

Monday had an overwhelming need to do something to help out, especially after watching his coven try and fail through a scrying mirror; his heart in his throat the whole time as he watched the group being assualted by some unknown entity, and grateful that Saturday had managed to get them out of there while they attempted to find the source of the snow.

In fact, he had gone with Noel, his neighbour, to search the island for the source. Unfortunately, Manta Carlos was too big, and there had been too much snow for them to really enter into the denser less populated part of the island, and thus, they had not found anything useful. They had come away empty-handed which only add to Monday's disappointment and incessant need to do something, anything to help stop the snow.

"Yes Monday?" spoke up Candle standing attentively by Monday, resisting the urge to call them master. Even since being transferred to serve him, he had been adamant about being called by his name instead of the title master. Why he disliked the title Candle was uncertain but it was not their place to question to really question these things.

"Of course. How may I assist you?" inquired Candle. Though intuitively, they suspected that they needed help with placing these mirrors but until he gave them the command they were compelled to stand by at the ready.

When Monday heard Candle answer almost immediately and right beside him, he gave a small jump. He had not quite expected her to be right there when he needed her. Though he had to admit it was admirable, and a bit unnerving too, just how efficient she was and how she always seemed to be close by when needed.

Granted Monday didn't have a ton of tasks for her to do at the moment- just the usual - help him with his magic when required, keep the shop clean and organised (which he admitted, sometimes got away from him) and the same with the house. However, since Monday was fairly obsessive about order and tidiness at home, the house was fairly easy to keep clean.

"Oh, you are here, good," he said glancing at her sheepishly, "can you start removing the draping from the mirrors for me?" he asked her as he carefully set another mirror swathed in sheets against the wall.

"We are going to set them up in a wide circle," Monday explained as he started to count the mirrors up against the wall and seeing there were only 14 mirrors and they would need three more.

Candle looked to the rows of mirrors covered in cloth, each of which lay against the wall. Such of a mundane task but an order was an order.

"As you wish." spoke Candle as strolls on over to the mirrors, removing the first covering with but a firm tug of the canvas that hides. Behind the drapes Candle saw themselves... or at least the form forced upon them upon being trapped on the material plane. They stared back at their reflection for a few seconds before moving on to the next mirror. Each time the mirror revealed itself, they saw the same figure looking back to them with as much disappointment as the last.

"How wide of circle will be required of for this set-up. Are these mirrors to be part of some ritual?" inquired Candle as they look away from their reflection in the final mirror, trying to get an idea where they would have to position these mirrors as well as their purpose.

Monday was searching the back room for the other three missing mirrors when he heard Candle's question. "Oh, ah, yes, I didn't tell you, did I?" he said as he pulled out a mirror from behind a rolled up tapestry,

"We, well, I, I am going to scry for the source of this snow," he told Candle as he hauled the third last mirror over to where she was standing, spying the last two mirrors hidden behind a wooden crate in a corner.

"We need to place all the mirrors in a circle so that there is a foot and a half between each and each one is facing a cardinal point," Monday explained as he stood next to her, hands on hips and looked around the room, wondering now if it was big enough, or whether they should go outside.

"Ah, so is this some form of divination?" piped up Candle, the purpose of the mirrors now being more apparent. Though they were a recent arrival, even they were aware that this volume of snow was unnatural. And though such large snowstorms were in impossible by magical means, the power behind it goes far beyond anything they experienced.

"Shall we set up in this location or..." Candle looked about, wondering if there was enough space to place all of the mirrors at the proper distance from one another "... are we to move these mirrors elsewhere?"

While space could be made by moving a few things around, Candle had to be sure where it was their master wanted their set up. The sooner the scrying was preformed, sooner the true culprit could be found. That would in the end, allow relief to all of this snow for not only was it a hindrance to them but also potential hazard to their master given their... particular condition.

Monday nodded and smiled at Candle as he brought over the last two mirrors, removing the protective sheets as he did so. "Yes, that's exactly what we are going to do," he said with a quiet determination. "There has to be something or someone at the center of this abnormality," he told her.

And when Candle asked about setting things up, Monday looked around the back room and pursed his lips. It was rather cramped, even moving stuff out of the way. Sighing heavily, he knew what they had to do. He didn't want to do it, but he immediately thought about Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. They had all risked their necks to find the source. So now, in a way he owed it to them to try too, it was his turn, and besides, he had Candle to help him and Sunday's amulet. It should be enough to keep him safe, he reasoned.

"Let's take everything and set it up outside in the back," Monday suggested as he then pulled out his pocket watch that Sunday had charmed for him just to make sure he had it on him.

"I think the back patio area is still fairly clean of snow," he told her as he opened the back door that leads outside to the backyard. The person that Monday hired to help shovel snow had been around just that morning.

"As you command Monday." Candle gave an affirmative nod to their master, grabbing one of the mirrors to take to the back patio. Given the snow they could understand their master's concern, even if much of it was shoveled away earlier.

"Shall I set up the set up the mirrors in the back patio area in the circular arrangement as you requested whilst you focus your energies elsewhere? Should any snow formed puddles it could create a hazard for you well being." suggested Candle as the carried a mirror out to the back. While she handled the cold poorly they were compelled to always have the master's safety in mind and any risk to him they should ideally minimize. Though if their master throws caution out to the wind then there was only so much they can do to intervene if the fall victim to an unseen puddle. Wouldn't be the first time they lost a master whom failed to heed their concerns.

Monday shook his head. "It's okay, or should be," he told Candle as he fixed his gaze on her thoughtfully while scratching his beard. Pleased that she was concerned about his welfare but also not wanting her to worry. He had spent too many years weighing the risks of his curse not to be fully aware of what he was doing.

"I think, if we could clear the fine layer of snow using like fire magic..." here he looked at Candle meaningfully. Not sure exactly what she could do, but have guessed by now that she was a fire elemental. "And light a small bonfire in the circle, we can keep everything dry enough to do the scrying safely."

The way Monday looked to them, they knew that by we they meant them. But it was a reasonable request and they could at least flex their fiery powers for once. There were however some limitations to what their powers would allow.

"I can clear a path of the snow. I can also light the bonfire but for it to continue to burn, I am to remain within 4.6 meters of the blaze,or 15 feet, else the fire will snuff itself out." commented Candle whom then thought to add "However, can still light the fire with from from another source such as match or lighter."

As they reached the back, the placed the mirror along the wall nearby and looked the fine coat of snow laying on top of the ground. Though it was quite a bit, it should be a doable request.

"Do we have the materials to construct such a bonfire? I can collect the firewood need to start such blaze as well as something to ignite it."
