Starlight Academy operates year round, although the school year 'starts' in September. Because there's so many people who find out about their powers midway through the year, the school has lots of accommodations and really liberal drop-in policies for people who start months in.
We also operate on fluid time, so you can say they started with the new class in september without that being an issue at all.
