Alexis didn't reply to the question about going to get coffee. He might just get his schedule and go fly off to burn what energy he had left after his morning run. His attention was drawn by the mention of the sports club though. "I might try the sports club. That doesn't sound too bad." He sure as hell wasn't going to go into debate club.




Violeta smiled "Well i'm glad I'm not doing night classes so I can see at least some of you in class. I'll definitely go to drinks to smell the coffee. I love that smell." And of course to continue enjoying talkign and feeding.

Her attention was drawn by the mention of vampires living in Rome. The cult of vampires she had been part of had traveled through that city years back and some of them might have remembered the purple haired girl. That could make for an awkward conversation though so she didn't bring it up. She did however draw a little closer to the couple almost reflexively because of the affection being shown.

"What's ew about debate?" And while Rory wasn't trying to come off challenging, it likely did anyway. That was the debater in her.

"I'm not old enough to drink. So coffee for me."

"I don't know if I'm allowed to drink, but since everyone's going with coffee, then I'll go with that!" Why on earth was there even a thing against drinking? Alcohol was just like any other drink, wasn't it? Beer was something she knew was part of that legal age thing, but for some reason root beer wasn't? Was there something different about it?

"We're under age what the hell else are we going to drink? Forbidden Zone?" he mostly asked Jude, since he was the one who proposed it.

He grinned and released a small burst of crackling blue energy. "So hype for this year though, gotta make it epic and kick ass. It's our fucking year fam."

Rory flinched at Vega's energy. "Well, shit," she said before setting Tibs on a nearby pot holder. "I'm going to step back in here when it's a little quieter."

She stood awkwardly for a moment, staring at Vega. "Yeah. No. Okay."

Rory waved at everyone and quickly ducked out from the crowd, leaving her rat there to watch when space freed up.

"Debate team just seems a bit boring," she'd say, with a chuckle, "it was sorta fun watching my brother do it, can't ever see me joining though." She'd nod to Rory as she stepped out.

"Coffee it is, plenty of good places nearby," he'd give Violeta a glance when she moved close but didn't give much thought to it. "I haven't been to the forbidden zone yet actually."

"People are piling in now," she'd say, her ears twitching as it picked up all the noise. "You excited?" she'd ask Dulce, "I know we're just moving up a grade, but it's the last year of high school."

"You're six months old," Jude said, "So definitely not allowed to drink. None of us can, except Violeta, who... you know, can't. You have to be eighteen." Maybe someone was eighteen, but if they were, they'd speak up.

He waved at Rory as she pulled back, scooping up Tibs and depositing the rat on his shoulder. He was pretty used to touching them, and in a lot of ways treated them like extensions of Rory.

"I stopped by once. It was... weird. I was just going to think any old coffee shop, but the Forbidden Zone sounds good if everyone's fine with that. It's got enough room for us."

"I don't really get what the big deal is. It's the last year of high school but you have more school after that. Is there something I'm missing here?" The appeal just wasn't there. If she'd have her way she'd just go watch more cartoons, but she'd be kicked out of the school if she didn't go to her classes, and this was really the only place she could lay her head down. "18 years?! But that's going to take forever! The rest of you would have whittled down to dust by the time I turn 18."

Vega looked after Rory, a bit concerned. He turned to Jude,"She alright?"

"Forbidden Zone is practically right on campus so I just figured it would be easier for everyone. I know it's not really everyone's scene but hey... coffee's good," he grinned.

"Eighteen years is probably nothing though after you get used to living. How it is for dragons at least," he added, turning to Dulce.

"Forbidden Zone is fine with me, I hear it's good," caffeine didn't affect her, but she still like coffee. "I can buy actually," she didn't sleep, so she got extra work in during the night for extra money.

"Dust?" she'd chuckle, "I'm immortal, as are a lot of people here." She'd nod in agreement with Vega, "it's the same with my family, all vampires, eighteen years isn't really long when you'll likely live forever."
