I love the lake, actually I like most forms of water, which is kind of odd. she said pulling her hair behind her ear revealing it to be a normal ear. Which once again was odd for her. But also explains why she hadn't heard him before he spoke.
Really? she askedYour parents went here? That is so cool. My parents didn't have any powers, they kind of rejected me for mine, but whatever. I've come to terms with it. What powers do they have? If you don't mind my asking.

"I don't think it's odd. I really like them too.." He said, well maybe it was just a bit odd.

"Their powers?" Arima thought it over, he didn't know. Maybe once he did, but his grandfather had never told him. Maybe he got both of his powers from each of his parents? Was that likely?

"I don't know." He spoke again only it was almost a whisper, he couldn't even remember his parents. He was only told that they came here. Arima's memories of his brothers and sisters were gone too. Every memory of them he once had was gone, maybe forever. He didn't know.

Kagami smiled at him. It was sweet of him to say that it wasn't odd, even though, she was sure, they both knew it was.
Kagami's smile withdrew some when she realized what she had said had upset him.
Oh, I'm sorry, Arima. I shouldn't pry like that. Please, forgive me. she felt so bad. She hadn't meant to hurt him. There was obviously more to him than meets the eye.
She wasn't sure what to do but she got to her feet and sat next time him putting a comforting hand on his arm, in an apologetic manner, also as an attempt to make him feel better.
