Say it's true, say it to me.

Kagami sat on a large boulder at the edge of a river bank. The river was freezing from the recent snow but she still dangled her feet in the water. The cold bite brought life back into her, until her feet went numb and she pulled them out of the water curling them up to her body and shivering. Her long purple hair spilled out onto the rock and pooled around her body. She was thinking about perhaps cutting it. It was about time for a change, she thought. But then again, maybe change wasn't such a good thing.

She let out a sigh and closed her eyes listening to the sound of the river flowing, the breeze rustling the trees barren branches. Everything else was changing, so why shouldn't she?

Kagami turned her head around and saw the boy. She smiled and let go of her knees and turned her body to face him.
No, that's okay. The cold makes me feel alive. But thank you.
She jumped off the boulder and landed on a small grassy area, that was covered in snow and picked up her sneakers. She put them on and walked towards Arima
My name is Kagami. So what are you doing all the way out here?
She sat down facing him.
I hope you don't mind. she said, referring to her sitting without asking or being invited to sit.

Kagami smiled,
The cold helps me feel alive, and I like the peace and quiet. It's nicer than the noisy commons or cafeteria. Besides, people tend not to notice me anyway so why should I bother with the noise? she said with a shrug. The school was alright but she didn't really like company that much. But Arima seemed alright. At the very least he like the nature just like her.

She curled her feet underneath her once she knew it was alright that she sat there. The warmth returned to her toes, then the arch of her foot, ankle and so on until she could feel her feet again.

Kag smiled a small smile. It was difficult to understand her sometimes, she knew that. She also knew that some people didn't want to be understood, she had a feeling that Arima was one of those people.
It's hard not to notice people sometimes. But on a side note, when did you get here? I haven't seen you around before. Of course I am generally am not in doors so it makes it difficult for me to see people, but what can you do. I don't like being in doors and the price I pay for that is few friends. she said with a chuckle.

I've been here a few months. Enough time to adjust to everything and explore. There are some really gorgeous places around here. The mountains, the ocean, the forests. There are also some really secluded places. There are rarely people in on the roof and the abandoned floors. It can be a really great place to relax. Have you found any places that you like yet?
Kag usually had trouble talking to people but she enjoyed talking to Arima, he seemed to be more like her than the other students, he also seemed like he needed a friend. Just like she did.
