Save the last dance

Dannielle smiled but felt a little hurt.

"Oh, It would be soo much fun...but if you REALLY dont want to....alright"she said joyfully. She fluttered her wings and darted into the air.

"I was scared the first time I was up high....But now..its the best thing ever" she said as she spun to the beat of the music."You sure you dont want to give it a try?' She said as she stopped twirlng..

"Not very often actually. But when I come and I meet someone as amazing as you...well it makes the few times I come here worth it." She said as she blushed. She landed lightly on the ground infront of him.

Her ankle buckled and she fell in his direction. She realized he had 2 options here..1 was to catch her..and the second was to let her fall...

Danielle was overcome with the agony of her aching ankle and her embarresment she completely didnt think as she dsaid, "If you werent amazing you would have let me fall." She smiled at him.

"Thanks.." she said as she smiled again..."Ummm do you maybe wanna go to the beach or something with me sometime??"she said hopefully. All she could do was wait..and hope...

Danielle said "So how about now?? You wanna go to the beach or the lake now maybe?? I know that im kinda rushing things and all...but you are the nicest person I have met who is actually really nice..."

Danielle fluttered her wings and stayed 1 inch above the ground. She didnt want to be way to high, but she still didnt want to have to use her still hurting ankle.

Danielle smiled and walked out out the door.

"No...My aunt sent me here to get away from my mom... " she said quietly..."At first I was sad had to go, but now," she was looking at him as she said this, "Im very glad I came..." She was still flying just above the ground. She was soo happy to have finally met someone who she actually thought she could like..
