Odin sat in his office at his desk, his very nice looking 'office' looked more like a typical study someone who was rich would have. He wasn't too rich, but he looked good in very rich attire. His Purple cloak was sprawled over the 'Visitors' chair in front of his desk. No one really came to see him so he just left it as is.

He grabbed one of the liquid containers on a shelf and glass. Normally drinks weren't allowed on school grounds, but they said nothing about animated objects bringing them in. Some of the models were stand in his office by the door, two Knights with armor depicting scenes of a glorious battle of medieval era. He sighed a moment as he poured a scotch into a small glass and added ice.

Taking a sip he looked at some of the paintings on his desk. Some were... Decent to say the least. Some were just bad. Even for him. He understood that these kids were students, but compared to what he did, it was horrible. Like stick figures to the Mona Lisa.

He shook his head as he looked out the window.

"Bunch of fuckin' Idiots. Goddamn I swear this school is trying to make me go nuts here."

He then patted his chest pocket and pulled out a fresh cigar and opened the window. He put the cigar in his mouth as he looked out the window, seeing students and teachers all outside enjoying lunch. He wasn't too big on going out his office, he was packed with things to do.

"Goddamn, I might need to eat somethin' soon. I got class in an hour after all this markin'"

He heard a knock at his door. As he pulled out and went to light his cigar. He could see the fire in front of it as he closed the lighter and put the cigar away.

"Please, come on in." he said sarcastically. Expecting someone to come in and ruin his day.

He said moving the cloak off the chair onto his desk over some of his paperwork he was working on. Just students works and marks.

Students go and see their teachers for all sorts of reasons, some it may be to do with work ethnic, others it may be on a more personal level. Teachers are there to provide a safe and supportive learning environment for their students, after all they have to brave the world once they leave and path their career.

She however was one of the exceptions, her longevity never allowed a normal progression of life. So she forever became a student. Her travels took her to many places, in the end she got caught up in the existence of Starlight Academy. To be a student of Starlight seemed almost a waste of her abilities, but that was the decision as of now. It was a new chapter in her books seeing the varied and unique characters that occupied the island. Savannah had grown accustomed to being surrounded by humanity, so meeting a individual who was made of liquid indeed came as a surprise.

Her most recent journey brought her to the office of a history teacher, one whom she had class lessons with. So why was she here?

When prompted to enter she did so closing the door behind her. The two knights by the doors caught her attention. "Oh. A late eleventh century design or perhaps leaning towards early fourteenth?" She queried, eyeing up the model.

Turning on the balls of her feet she faced towards Odin. "Ah, pardon my intrusion." Her arms flicked behind her back.

Odin took a look at a few sheets on his desk, taking a look at the girl, he knew that she was in his classes, but couldn't put his finger on it. He wasn't too sure on which class it was, till he found one of his friday classes.

"Oh you are... Savannah, right? It's nice to see you here." he said as she walked in. She had more interest on the knights. "Yeah, 'round the late 11th century."

He said as the knights at the side of the doors looked at Savannah with their eyes helms as they began to just watch her. Odin liked the feeling of superiority especially in the school. Even to other teachers, made him feel better. Though this girl was always a good student. So far.

He tossed a lighter onto his cloak as he sat in the chair and put his feet up on the desk with a pen and some paper work on a clipboard.

"Well, I am sure you didn't just come here to tell what good a job I did paintin' the knights. Also, first rule of my office. My name is Odin. Not the crap they tell you to say."

In the back of his head he was going

"Fail, fail, fail, fail. Huh. Savannah's isn't too bad. pass."

He was trying to mark and talk to the student at the same time. This was going to be an interesting lunch time. He knew a few things about students, but he left as much as possible to finding out himself. He found it better to talk to the students.

Her initial thought was right! Of course they looked awfully familiar, the soldier's attire one wore during the European march to the Middle East. She crept in a smile relishing the thought, her tails swayed ever so slightly. Savannah looked like a over excited child, a twelve century old child.

Her eyes rolled towards Odin's desk, he was marking it seemed. It would be rude to ask for ones marking so soon? She was confident in her answers of course, no doubt she would fail. Her existence was born legacy having lived through some of worlds most iconic periods.

Though that did not mean she knew everything. The class materials she did proved so, she wasn't there in person but she did learn of the events afterwards. The world was too big of a place to witness all its change.

"Quite so, Odin." She began. "However gazing upon a suit of mail was nostalgic."

Speaking of the model knights caused Savannah's head to drift a little, clearly recalling a memory. She came to a couple of seconds later.

"The test was not a event I was too aware of. Vivid yet specific on dates and characters. I would have liked to have seen them in person for myself." she spoke followed by a gentle sigh.

He saw Savannah taking interest in the life like knights, he wasn't about to tell her at this moment that they were just models he had created using plastic and some metal. Though when he transformed them, they became life like. He was going to leave her to her fantasy as well as her being excited.

"Yeah yeah yeah. I know the school has 'lots on you crazy kids sometimes, but you take the cake Savannah." He said, recalling that most if not all students didn't talk like that but a student who was made up of small machines. "I mean, it's nice to talk to some students after class. I like to get to know more about the students I deal with on a regular basis."

Odin put the papers in his bag, he wasn't done, but he could finish them during class. So he went over to a small hot plate hidden in a small alcove in his room, he had a lot of empty places.

"Want some Tea? I got some Early Grey still. I think enough for two cups."

He said grabbing two cups and putting some tea in both. Turning off the hot plate and putting the cups on both sides of the desk. He then pointed at the chair.

"Come on, sit down take a load off. Feel free to stay."

Her ears perked and twitched. Being called crazy was one thing, but a to be branded as a kid was far too amusing. The fox girl hummed to herself quietly. It was rather a pleasant feeling to to be identified as someone unique, or one that stood out from the rest.

Her trance of thought was distracted by Odin's movement, the papers were tucked away and out come a plate with various ornaments. She cocked her brow momentarily. It then became apparent to what was happening.

"I will take you upon that offer." She answered, following his instructions to sit. "Be what is it that we shall discuss?" She asked nonchalantly with a fickle of a grin.

"I'd thought I'd... Get to know you a bit more. I mean, you seem to be the only one interested and tend to teach me a few things about our history as if you lived it. That REALLY catches my attention."

Odin liked it when a student cared about the work, but this girl seemed to be more than what he was thinking as the knights turned into little models perched on a ledge by the door as he snapped his fingers. He leaned back in his chair. His cup of tea in hand as well as a small plate as he took a sip.

"That and I was just curious on how you do soooo well in history yet everyone else is as dumb as a brick."

He wasn't too sure on where to go with this, she was bright student, and seemed a lot older than she gave on, so it was one of those 'Try to figure out what the hell is going on before someone does a stupid thing' kind of deals, either way it was up to him to try and gauge what she wanted. She wanted to discuss something and Odin wasn't entirely on board on what it was.

She was grinning. It wasn't anything out of the normal, normally he was the one with grin on his face as he was telling students off, but this time it was student with it. She seemed nice enough to Odin though to deal with his own antics.

Ah, proper introductions that goes slightly beyond teacher and student. Supposedly not something unheard of and frowned upon without moderation. However Savannah was not one to worry of such things, she was past being considered a child in her own eyes.

"Perhaps I am what they would call a book-worm?" She threw out, obviously it was a lie. Savannah help herself to the second cup, giving it a soft blow whilst settling into her seat. Her tails puffed out to the sides before falling down.

"Maybe no one appreciates the arts? After all with such a short life span it is easier to think ahead than dwell on the past, no?" She hypothesized with a small shrug of the shoulders, followed by a gentle sip of her cup.

A bookworm? Odin had a good chuckle at that for a moment then he looked at her and put the tea down and got up from his seat. He doesn't read anything into his students at all, but when he finds one interesting he likes to delve into the minds of them, find out what they were or who they were.

"A bookworm huh? Normally people wouldn't have been able to call out a perfect century of a suit of armor." He said moving over the still opened window and closed it. He sighed a moment and leaned up against it and looked at Savannah. "Or be excited to see it."

Odin was slightly calling her out, though most of it was sarcasm. With a smirk on his face as he looked at her. Shaking his head at what she said after.

"Nah, everyone's got some kind of appreciation for the arts, no matter how fuckin' dumb it might." He slipped in a swear. He didn't care really. "Though don't be mistaken. I got a short life span. Yeah, but either way. If I can impart this information I got in my bloody head o' mine. Then ya know what? I can dwell on the past all I want. The past has a way of tying with the future. Foxy."

He said with a chuckle on the foxy part. He did notice the tail and found it it... rather adorable, but wasn't going to say it out loud.

Her eyes peered and the ends of her nine tails fluttered, it was quickly becoming a fun game. She watched him rise and shut the window, the outside ambiance was drained.

"Perhaps, but perhaps I prefer a person in uniform?" She quirked, gesturing a poor innocent expression. Savannah returned to her cup temporarily.

Her ears twisted towards him as Odin spoke, she held the cup yup to her mouth and smiled underneath. He was able to see through her words. "Tis a rather noble notion to guard knowledge of the time before your own. I am forever in debt to the young scribes who imprint the events on a parchment that we view today."

Savannah shut her eyes, "Though one can not taste the past without being there to begin with, a taste that can not compare."
