Appearance Description: He’s been called the most handsome man in the empire. Standing at 6'6" he has sharp golden eyes and sports long dark hair which stops just above his ankles. He’s also has a fairly muscular build. Strong arms, cheese grater abs, frankly there’s not an ounce of fat on him. Saraph’s forearms and chest bear feathers. His hair is also actually very fine feathers, and he sports sharp claws on both his fingers and toes. In terms of clothing he prefers his traditional noble raiment from his home world in the arena, he’s taken to earth clothes, at times mixing it with his traditional styles. Even having several well tailored suits made for himself. All in all he looks like an abnormally handsome human.



Personality Description: He has an air of confidence one would expect of a man from his background. Some may call him highly arrogant and they would be right to do so. He can also be short tempered, reckless, and a petty asshole. If he were actually from Earth he’d fit in with your run of the mill rich college frat boys, probably even be a star athlete. Regardless, he’s a warrior through and through. He’s only willing to fight to the death if the situation actually warrants it. In spite of his list of shortcomings, Saraph is dependable and honorable to people he’s close with. He’s generally open to meeting new people and experiencing new things. He has his own personal honor code. Saraph also has a good bit of political experience, having conquered several solar systems and in turn helping them to then transition into his father’s empire.


Powers: Saraph possesses a specialized suit of armor that is summoned via magic circles located on the palms of his hands that only he can utilize. Once equipped his initial physical capabilities without his suit are enhanced, allowing him to lift upwards of thirty tons and move at speeds up to eighty mph. It can allow Saraph to survive within the vacuum of space as well as underwater. In terms of durability, a pistol may scratch the armor. A point blank shot from a shotgun will be felt, and damage the armor. Higher explosions can damage the suit. It does have a failsafe for the event of sustaining great amounts damage (massive explosion, huge magic attack) it will withstand the attack then shed itself. If it takes too much damage or Saraph is incapacitated or killed the suit disappears. He cannot summon the suit if his hands are severed. If Saraph is killed the suit is simply gone for good. When the suit is shed the damages repair over time, usually between 1-7 days. The circles on Saraph’s hands actually give updates on his armor’s status and viability for battle.

Force wave: Saraph has the ability to take his natural energy and generate a force wave through his hands and feet. Its range is only about twelve feet and is weaker at that distance. The force is physical in nature, and can turn a stone into pebbles with little effort. This ability is not augmented by his armor. The type of damage the pulse does depends on how Saraph delivers it. Firing it through his fingers causes a piercing effect. Openhanded is a more harmless shockwave that pushes opponents and objects away. He can also shatter the ground by stomping his feet or augment his jumps so he goes higher or further.

Species Abilities: Ascendants are a humanoid race hailing from Fenos, a planet located in a galaxy far from the Milky Way. They descended from an avian species, and according to their myths they were blessed by a roaming deity, becoming what they are today. Aside from superior physical prowess(compared to humans) they possess very strong life forces. Apart from said deity, ascendants partake in ancestor worship and go out of their way to keep meticulous records of the lives of each family member. Likewise excellence is strongly emphasized especially among the noble classes. Their life spans are considerably long, so long that there are only a few thousand pure bred ascendants spread throughout their empire, forming their somewhat deific nobility. There are several hybrid related races that have spawned from the noble class however. When an ascendant dies they don’t go to a heaven or hell, instead their spirits get absorbed by the next member down the line, typically their child. The absorbed essence then strengthens the child. To this end, ascendants put a strong emphasis on procreation, though the rules for nobles are quite different. While abilities among the hybrid races may vary, the noble ascendants hold the purest of abilities for their race.
As a noble Ascendant, Saraph can lift up to five tons, and run a speeds of forty mph. His strong life force allows him to recover from minor wounds such as cuts to heal within a few seconds. They are capable of regenerating limbs over the course of a few weeks and if left in proper medical care such as life support, healing magic, et cetera can regenerate damaged or destroyed organs excluding the brain. Saraph cannot survive a decapitation. And without immediate medical attention can die of severe injuries.

Weaknesses: Saraph's life force is something that can be drawn out and manipulated for various purposes. His race has a history of utilizing criminals like batteries until they finally extinguish and die. They have a rather potent aura which can draw in beings such as succubi and energy vampires and is known for being very addictive. Draining his life force also saps his physical strength, and prevents him from summoning his suit. It also prevents him from healing. It can take a long time for an ascendant to reach previous levels, likewise their strength and healing abilities are reduced during this period. Immediately after he would be prone to convulsions, and phantom pains of sorts. Saraph cannot survive a bullet to the head, decaitation, generally anything potentially deadly when it comes to head wounds. He can survive without key vital organs for up to a half hour, which is longer than it would take for him to regenerate them to stabilize himself, as such he'd need immediate medical attention and several weeks in the hospital.


Biography: Saraph is the second prince in the United Empire of Fenos. As the second son his primary duty was going out and convincing other inhabited worlds to join their group as members of their empires. At times peaceful negotiations were struck, other times they were met with immediate hostility. He’s launched several military campaigns in the name of expansion over centuries. During an expeditionary mission he got himself caught in a space time rift and found himself alone in an unfamiliar galaxy. He was effectively lost, so he drifted from place to place, gathering what information he could. In the mean time he became a rather well known fighter in coliseums across this particular galaxy due to his refusal to use weapons aside from his armor. It wasn’t long before he heard about a rather peculiar backwoods planet where many powerful beings gathered and resided. He immediately set course for Earth, taking up residence on a tiny island where the highest concentration of strong beings as well as extraterrestrials seemed to gather.

-While he's thoroughly trained with a myriad of weapons, Saraph prefers not using any weapons at all.
