"She has a nifty power though, She can manipulate sanity." Marcus nodded, now standing up, glad that Lucas was interested. "Not something I'd use, but hey, to each their own."

" Yeah, to each their own. Who knows, maybe mine's a really awesome research partner, but I just don't know 'cause the only 'researching' I really do is for my homework. " Lucas shrugged. Well, homework and... other things, but he was pretty sure his search for the perfect chicken feed was a just a little less important than whatever Marcus was up to.

" That is... nifty." There was a tinge of concern in his voice as he struggled to sputter out some kind of normal reaction. " I mean, it's not something I'd use either, but uh, hey, better than what I got."

" Immortality. Pretty lit, right?" Lucas clarified, clearing his throat. " ... Except, I don't want it for, uh, reasons." Outliving his friends, screwing up the cycle, really milking what his mom did for him, the list went on.

" So, uh, if that sounds good to you, how do we do this thing?"

Marcus exhaled, finding it humorous, and a small grin appeared. Maybe Lucas was right. Each Regalis was their own person, so Sandra might be just horrible at communicating with others. If that was the case, She would be much better with Lucas then.

"It's one of those powers I don't think anyone would use." He agreed. Well, except for a villain in the stories he read, but Lucas didn't seem like that. The guy seemed more like the kind of guy you would find on a farm or in a country town than working on some kind of evil scheme.

Marcus' eye's widened as he heard what Lucas said. "A Regalis can give immortality?" He didn't want to live forever, but that seemed like it would be more popular than it was.

Though if he had to guess, Marcus would assume that more people in Manta Carlos were some form of Immortal than not. "Uh, when I did trade last time, He just went with the other person, so I guess, just... tell them that we've traded?"

" Well, uh, I've never done the whole trading business before.... but that sounds legit." Lucas confessed, scratching the back of his ear. He motioned for his own regalia to come forward. " Very well then." She nodded, approaching Marcus. Her expression softened towards the both of them, barely enough to qualify as smile. It occurred to Lucas that maybe it wasn't necessarily him that the regalia was angry towards nor was it her disposition. She may have been annoyed with the situation of being paired with a goofy acting boy barely over fourteen. Lucas knew that even though half of him was a death entity, it was still hard for a good handful of people to take him seriously, and his regalia just happened to be one of them.

" I think we have a deal Marcus. Feel free to hit me up later if you need help with that research dude." He grinned.
