<div align=center>S.A.G.A.
The Starlight Academy Gamers Association</div>
SAGA is a video game club by day, and a prize fighting ring by night. It is operated by Siri Prise, a final year college student at Starlight Academy. Contestants of any age and any capabilities can contact Siri (or you can just pretend and start a thread yourself if you've already picked someone to fight! No need to wait on me~) to be matched up against a worthy opponent. These opponents are picked by 'power weight class' based upon a blend of magical/physical abilities. Each Thursday night, rain or shine or snow, a fight is held at various locations which are spread by word of mouth. More often than not, they are just behind the stables in the sports field, or somewhere along the beaches. (You as the RPer can pick whatever location you feel like, as long as it isn't in/around a building. Building destruction is too much liability for SAGA!)
Students and islanders alike are welcomed to come engage in the fights, or gamble against the fight. Winners are paid their cut of the winnings, and losers receive nothing. You cannot watch the fight unless you are gambling, or are willing to pay a flat fee to watch (or have some sorta powers, though the field described below discourages some of that). The fee varies, depending on those involved. There is no guarantee that a fight will complete to the end, or that a contestant won't go flying into the crowd on fire. There are, however, healers on site (usually).
A magic field is erected around the parameters of the club's location so that it appears as if absolutely nothing is happening in the area, until one walks through the field. This is for purposes of keeping security and snitches at bay, though this field doesn't always prevent the fight from being interrupted.
The way the fighting is suggested to be conducted is through a predetermined winner, though those involved in the fight can employ whatever fighting method they desire.
In order to sign up for a fight, students/islanders would send note to Siri or her associates, or would approach her during the actual video game club hours (Wednesday nights 8-9 PM in the media lab).
This thread is for plotting purposes of those who would like to join the club to actually play video games (ha! You could, though.) and also for discussions to set up fights! Have fun!
