Altizica doubled checked and then triple checked his very long list of items for this party. Food? Yes. Fight pit? Yes. Shoggoth? Yes. Drinks? Yes. And on and on the list went as Alt made sure he got everything correct.
“Rut! Yeg! Greet the guest when they arrive. Fil! Help Liv with anything she might need.” All three of Alt’s shoggoth has transformed to appear like a human maid or butler for this party, they had even learned some English so they could properly assist during the party. The three shoggoth bowed and gave a unanimous “Of course master” before rushing off.
Altizica plopped down onto the couch with a loud sigh, looking over to the first guest Selkiris who has arrived a long time ago. “This is your first Eldritch party right Selky? I’m sure your so excited!”
Selkiris sat very formally on the couch, wearing his usual robes and drinking tea. “I am not a party person. I wasn’t even planning on coming to this but then you quite literally broke down my door, picked me up, and dragged me here.”
Alt laughed rather hard as Selky relived what had happened previously “I mean you could have resisted at any time yet you choose to allow what was happening.” Selky remained dead quite and Alt lounged further onto the couch. Everything was set, they just had to wait.

The stairs were acting as a temporary sanctuary for Aluin, as the party was getting started. Alt dad had said that Aluin didn't need to be there if he was scared, but Aluin was also scared of being alone in his room while hearing the sounds of the event coming from downstairs. So he had decided that he would feel better being near Alt dad and Anita and be scared rather than be alone and be scared. So Aluin was hiding in the stairs, gathering courage to go and find Alt dad. Aluin was wearing nicer clothes than usual, they weren't too big and they were scary. But Aluin was going to handle the fear better this time for Alt dad.
