Running

Tiger opened the gym door. She loved gyms for two reasons. One, she loved running, and two, lots of guys hang out in gyms.
She started out at a slow pace, her skirt swishing around her jeans and orange pony tail swinging. But she got faster and faster and faster. This was the fastest she'd ever gone! "Wow!" she said out loud while she was running. She wasn't even tired yet.

Renke watched the girl run as he stretch, bending from side to side. She was fast, that was for sure. He needed to a little working out himself since he hadn't done so in a while. He just didn't have time lately. Going into the lane next to the girl's on the track loop, he started jogging just to warm up.

Tiger slowed down and waved at the guy next to her. "Hey, I'm Tiger!" she said.

Renke looked over at her. "I'm Renke." He said simply and wondered if she would keep talking. Tiger was an odd name, though, he thought. Possibly she had powers that had to do with that animal? He would have to try to figure that out, then.

"What are your powers?" Tiger asked. "Mine are weather! I'm pretty good, but when I get mad, it storms!" Tiger grinned, as if that were great. She loved smiling.

'I guess her name has nothing to do with it then...' He thought as she talked.
"I can shapeshift and I control earth." He told her casually, smiling slightly. He kept running at the same pace, glancing at the track in front of him now and then.

"That's cool. Earth is good." Tiger couldn't think of anything else to say, so she just ran.

Renke kept quiet, following her example. The running was good for him; it calmed him down more and brought him closer to the earth, in a way.

"So... um... do you like running?" Tiger knew it was a dumb thing to say, but she felt like she had to say something.

"If I didn't like it, would I be here?" He asked jokingly, with a smile on his face. He looked at her as he ran, wondering how old she was.
