"We... we are they're children... they were supposed to love us, no matter what we are. Yes, I can admit, having children, furthermore twins, is hard, but with powers must have been even harder... but still... they are our family! They are supposed to support us!" tears were welling up in her eyes, she couldn't take the rejection. "It just... it hurts Ela.."

Ela had sat down on her bed. You could tell her bed from her sisters because her bedding was her favorite color. Crimson. She heaved a sigh, it was always hard to discuss their abandoning parents.

"Ata, you know I feel the same way, and you know I despise our parents for what they did to us but what I think is that they were just weak people, weak in the body, soul, and mind. Having children like you and me. You amazing and creative and wonderful and me the parents worst nightmare...well it must have been more than their weak selves could handle." she couldn't think of anything else to say...what else was there to say? That, even being her explanation, wasn't satisfactory to her so how could it be satisfactory to Ata?

Atalia started to cry. She buried her face into Ela's shoulder, and just wept. She couldn't take it anymore. Once she started calming down a little, she rose her face again.

"I feel like we're orphans! I even felt like that when we still lived with them! They just ignored us, like we didn't exist... I mean maybe we should count our blessings, they could have abused us or something... but... there was nothing."

Atalia started welling up with tears again and buried her face back into Elatrion's shoulder.

Ela put her hands around her sister, softly patting her head to try and make her feel better.

Sometimes, when parents pretend that they're children don't exsist it's worse. At least when you're being abused they're acknowledging your exsistance.

She hated seeing Ata like this, it took a lot to get her in tears, usually she was so happy. Slowly, noiseless tears started rolling down her cheeks. It really wasn't fair of their parents to harm them like this, to scar their poor young minds and souls.

Atalia stood up, still crying, and tried to make herself stop.

"UGH!.. I'm so mad... at myself... crying about... this... isn't going... to stop anything! They still hate us... even...after... I throw...this...fit... whats....the use?!" She tried to get out, through the sobs.

Atalia put her hands on her head, and walked in circles around the room. Breathing deeply, trying to get herself to stop crying. She went into the small bathroom and blew her nose. She then came out, still sniffeling, bringing some toilet paper to Elatrion, to dry her tears too.

Elatrion watched her sister pace around the room. She wished she could do something but at the end of the day no matter how much comfort she provided it was still an internal issue that Ata had to figure out on her own. She could just be there to offer moral support, just as Ata would have to do for Ela when she was ready to fully open up to her emotions.

She waited patiently when Ata went into the bathroom, she stopped her tears but her cheeks were still streaked with mascara and tear stains. She took the toilet paper gratefully when Ata handed it to her and wiped her cheeks free of the embarassing marks.

Feeling a little better?" she asked her voice drenched with concern.

Atalia plopped on the ground, and just sat there. Finally, she stopped crying, and nodded to Ela's question.

"Now that we have THAT, out of the way.. how was your day? I met some different people..." Atalia said, regaining her self-esteem, and recollecting herself. She hated having those mental breakdowns. They didn't happen often, but they did happen.

Ela nodded, happy to see Ata recollecting herself and being more well...herself.

She smiled finding out that her sister was meeting more people, that was more like the Ata she knew! well, wonderful! Who? Were they nice? Did they have anything interesting to say? Ela was always excited to hear about Ata's encounters with others, mainly because she never had them.

Ata looked around, and sighed.

"Well, first, I met a girl the a deserted hallway. She was nice, I started talking about our parents with her. She had family problems too, a hateful sister. I really felt sorry for her. Then, I met his boy in the mountains... name was Noah. Don't really know him all that well yet."

Atalia gave a weak smile, and got up, and sat next to Ela on her bed. And gave her a little squeeze.

Ela gave her sister a sly smile.

My, my Ata your cup runneth over. So is this boy boyfriend material? she asked. She had never had a boyfriend and usually lived her life through Ata enjoying every minute from the sidelines.

((sorry bad case of Writers Block at the moment...))

Atalia smiled, and blushed. She nudged her sister.

"I don't know yet. Maybe. Don't know him enough yet." She looked around and laughed. "He is cute..." She blushed terribly again, and grabbed the covers off of her sisters bed and hide her face.
