Starlight Academy was alright, or sort of, he thought, walking solemnly down the halls of the dorm building. He had recieved his number easily in the mail, and after being shipped (the boy had absolutely refused the scheduled plane) over many seas and on the rocking sea-sickening boat for roughly four hours, Darren was relieved to have finally have reached land. Well, in his mind, at least the boat was better than the airplane.
He adjusted his pack on his shoulder, and stared down the hall, in silence. Dare drew up a blank; it was then he had nothing to think about, or at least he forgot the room number he was supposed to go.
'Room #423.'
He was snapped out of his blank gaze with a start. Dari, again, and as concise as possible.
'Thanks...' Truth be told, he still wasn't used to his twin's presence in his mind, but he had made it easier by keeping quiet. His twin was probably the only one he didn't snap back at.
Heeding his information, he looked for #423 and found it relatively easy, opening the door with a creak. To his surprise, he found luggage of another dormmate nearby, piled nearby, and he swore he heard something.
Darren moved his bags towards the spot nearest the door; he chose it because he was too lazy to walk a few more paces, plus he could regulate the flow in and out of the dorm. He sighed, putting his backpack on his bed, and laying on it tiredly. Sometimes he wondered if he was so weak, why couldn't Dari do it for him?
