"I want you to be a good boy now, Adrian. Don't let your powers get to you too much. If there's anything you need, give us a call or talk to the Headmistress. She already knows about your... gift. You're on your own now, son. You're going to be ok here. Don't forget that we both love you. Take care now.

There was a beautiful sunset bringing light into the room. Adrian walked in looking incredibly nervous. At this moment, the day personality was the dominant one. We're here at last. I know, just because I'm not controlling the body doesn't mean I can't see. Adrian looked around the room. The floorboards look dated but otherwise healthy, while the walls were of an ugly purple. The window was big enough to see through, but not big enough to climb through. Adrian thought of the last thing his mother had said to him. "You're on your own now, son." He no longer had his parents to protect him. He was growing up fast, even though he was only fourteen. He noticed two parcels sitting on the floor next to a single bed, both flat. Adrian opened the first one: inside was a brand new laptop computer. He smiled. Perfect at least for the daylight... but he couldn't try it out today. His other personality would hate him for that. So instead he placed the laptop aside at a desk.

Dang, I can't believe I caught my old room on fire, well I can control my power now.

Myth found himself opening his new room, as he stepped in he was greeted with a modest sitting room, and three doors, the one on the left was hanging open, and Myth saw through the open door, a boy who looked to be a couple years younger then him, but topped him by a couple inches. The room itself, from what was visible, seemed to be painted an ugly purple, had a bed, a desk, and a small window.

"Oh, hi, I didn't realize that someone was already here, looks like we're going to be roommates, name's Myth, well it seems you took that room, so the other one is mine."

Myth crossed the sitting room, and opened the door opposite of the one the other boy was standing in. His room was pretty much the same, the walls were the same ugly purple as the rest of the rooms, the single bed was shoved against the one wall. The difference though was that Myth's window was much larger, more like a giant glass door.

Great, at least I'll be able to go fly whenever I want!

Myth flopped his dufflebag, stuffed with his stuff, down on the bed, and went to investigate the rest of his new room. The main room was as he thought a sitting room, a small coffee table, two small chairs, and a small sofa all crammed together. So, Myth went and checked out the other door. It opened into a small bathroom, a shower/tub, toilet, sink, and two cabinent mirrors, the bathroom was the typical white tiles, so at least one room wasn't purple.

After checking out the bathroom, Myth went back into the sitting room, and flopped down in one of the chairs.

"Well, we have our own bathroom, but we really need to do something about this purple, you wouldn't have any paint would you."

Adrian looked up, seeing a boy slightly smaller than him enter. "My name is Adrian," he replied, "and I don't have any paint on me. Sorry." He now suddenly wished it wasn't time yet... his dominant personality wasn't done looking around the room yet. A huge headache entered his head, but Adrain did not react. He was used to this already. Suddenly, he felt artistic, and liked the colour all of a sudden. Hmmf. I don't see why you like that purple., The personalities have switched sides, and Adrian opened the second parcel. Inside was an easel with lots of paint. He smiled. His mother obviously knew that he liked both. "Huh, looks like I have paint at all, though not the right type unfortunately."

"Hm, no matter, I'm sure we can get some later, unless you like this color....So Adrain, what do you like to do for fun, me, swimming, flying, some reading, um...drawing on occasions, but I'll do pretty much anything, you.?"

Myth was still lounging on the chair, but suddenly realized that as long as Adrian was unpacking, he might as well to.

Myth rolled off the chair, and lightly padded over to his room, he kicked off his shoes and socks, kicking them under the bed, then he opened the dufflebag, pulled out the bed coverings and tossed them on the mattress, he then started sorting and putting his clothes away in the proper drawers of the clothes chest. When he was done, he fixed the bedding, and put the rest of his personal stuff in different drawers of the desk. Grabbing his necessities and shower/bath stuff, Myth headed over to the bathroom and stored them in the left hand mirror cabinent.

"Hey, I hope you don't mind, I took the mirror cabinent on the left, there's another one for you though.

"What do you like to do for fun?"
Adrian tried to think of a way to answer the question in a way that made sense. Since both of his personalities had different interests, they argued in his mind. I think we should tell him we both exist. Are you kidding? Then he'll think we're weird. This school is full of people with weird qualities anyway. Yeah, that's what mum said... I'll tell him that it depends on the time of day. It may hint something, but... Ok, fine. Get us both into- "Me?" he started. "It really depends. On days, I like to use my computer to do some research, read a book, play games like football, basketball, tennis. At night, I love to draw stuff, listen to music, maybe go swimming or jogging etc." As soon as Myth claimed his mirror cabinet, Adrian said "That's fine by me." I wanted that cabinet on the left.

"That's cool, different times, like the time of day influences your mood, well its almost night, hm, I'm done unpacking how about you, want to do something."

Myth dropped onto the sofa, stretching out and lounging there as he waited for Adrian's reply.

Adrian realised that he hadn't actually started unpacking yet. He decided to save it for later. Right now, he needed to think of something to do. Something that both personalities would like. And that was a hard thing. "I dunno. I just got here, so I pretty much don't know my way around. Do you?" he asked, hoping for a reply meaning 'yes'. You know, we could have found our own way around!

"Sure, I know my way around somewhat, but its dark right now so be careful, its not something any one's going to tell you out right, but see kids with powers aren't the only things here....well" Alex scratched the back of his head, deep in thought, " I don't really know how to say it, so I'm just going to come out and say it, there are Vampires here. Most of them you won't have any problems with, if you don't get on their bad side, and if you stay out of the city and night you should be fine, it's just for some reason I think this one, a real sadist, has it out for me, but don't worry you'll be safe enough, anyways, I'll show you around the grounds, just let me change quick."

Myth went into his room, and quickly changed, replacing the black pants and belt with a pair of jogging shorts, he put his sneakers back on, and threw his shirt to the side, going back into the main room topless.

"So, you ready."

Adrian smiled. "Sure am, what are we waiting for?" Both personalities were excited, though the current recessive personality was still annoyed with the dominant one. I wanted to find everything for myself. Well you should have arrived earlier. Well how could I if Mum was giving us that speech? Shut up. The tour's gonna start. Adrian was unaware that while his personalities were arguing his face was pulling an angry look directly towards Myth for no reason whatsoever.

"Woah, what's with the ticked off look, it was your idea to get the guided tour," Myth chuckled a bit half-heartedly at this, "Well, if you ready let's go.

ooc: I guess I'll go make the thread, I figure just one thread and travel to the different areas in character...
