"I want you to be a good boy now, Adrian. Don't let your powers get to you too much. If there's anything you need, give us a call or talk to the Headmistress. She already knows about your... gift. You're on your own now, son. You're going to be ok here. Don't forget that we both love you. Take care now.
There was a beautiful sunset bringing light into the room. Adrian walked in looking incredibly nervous. At this moment, the day personality was the dominant one. We're here at last. I know, just because I'm not controlling the body doesn't mean I can't see. Adrian looked around the room. The floorboards look dated but otherwise healthy, while the walls were of an ugly purple. The window was big enough to see through, but not big enough to climb through. Adrian thought of the last thing his mother had said to him. "You're on your own now, son." He no longer had his parents to protect him. He was growing up fast, even though he was only fourteen. He noticed two parcels sitting on the floor next to a single bed, both flat. Adrian opened the first one: inside was a brand new laptop computer. He smiled. Perfect at least for the daylight... but he couldn't try it out today. His other personality would hate him for that. So instead he placed the laptop aside at a desk.
