So, I'm finally here.
Felix took a look around his new room. Nothing he hadn't expected: beds, a bathroom and...that was about it.
He knew he was meant to share, but Felix felt like a room to his own. Back at the estate, he had a room twice this size, so this was already too small for him. Anything smaller than his and he'd probably lose it.
Light shone in from an open window. Felix noticed a small bird sitting on a branch from a tree outside. It was singing to itself, feeling generally happy about life.
Felix could say he felt the same. After all, now he'd managed to get out of the estate, he was able to really use his power as he wanted. He'd be able to meet a whole new array of animals and make new friends.
Happy, Felix lay on his bed and smiled.
I'm gonna have a good time here.

Xavier walked in to the room with his bionic arm currently in the form of a hand. He saw someone laying on a bed, and he placed his bag down next to another bed. He looked around - he knew he had to fit in so that nobody would become suspicious about his purposes. He sat on the bed and noticed a bird outside the window. He was tempted to change his arm into the longsword form to kill that annoying bird, but knew that that would arouse suspicion. Instead, he looked at the student and said "Name's Xavier."

Looked like alone was out of the question.
Felix quickly took the oppurtunity to draw conclusions about his new roommate.
He noticed the almost malicious stare at the bird outside, a stare that revealed an intent to kill.
Typical. They make me share a room with a psychopath.
"Felix. Felix Goldstone."
That was all Felix needed - or at least intended - to say. He could tell that staying around this Xavier wasn't going to be a very intelligent move.
He moved for the door, his previous cheer gone.

"Where ya goin'?" Xavier shouted calmly to his roommate. "You didn't even introduce yourself." He was hoping that maybe he could get his roommate's trust for his 'plan.' I was hoping I'd share with someone I knew. Or at least... had connections with.

Felix sighed.
"I did. I told you my name, and that's all you need to know. Put simply, I can tell you're up to something, and I don't want a piece of it."
It was an instinct he'd learnt almost automatically - an ability to forsee danger. He'd been around animals so long, it was natural to him.
Which was probably a good thing.

Xavier sighed. "Ok, you got me. I am up to something." He walked up to Felix, hiding the bionic arm behind his back. "I plan on throwing a party." He knew he was lying, but he hoped that Felix didn't. "Looks like you're now invited. I still need to plan a few things on my own. However, I was hoping it would be a suprise to all of the students." He walked up to his face and said menacingly and quietly, "So don't tell anyone."

"You expect me to believe that you;d threaten me like this over something simple like a party?"
Felix took a step backward. The arm Xavier was hiding was hardly inviting.
"And I'm assuming that arm you're hiding has a power. What does it do? Cut an enemy to ribbons?"

Xavier changed his arm into the katana form. "How did you guess?" he asked in a slightly sarcastic manner as he showed it to Felix in a non-threatening manner. "You know, I could use someone as smart as you on my... arrangements."

"Let's just call it instinct."
Felix didn't have to think long on an answer.
"So let me try and understand this. You waltz into the room, lie to me, threaten me to keep quiet about this lie, wave a sword in my face - and you still expect me to trust you?"

"Lie?" Xavier said. "Why... if I were a liar then I wouldn't expect you to trust me at all." He changed his sword back into the bionic arm. "Besides, I wasn't waving my sword at your face... I was merely showing it to you." His other hand became slightly electrical... but he didn't notice this. "So, what are your powers then?"
