Sándor Oláh: It's my belief that those kinds of vampires don't exist, or if they did, they were only in very small numbers. Instead, they most closely reflect a freshly killed corpse and how it would normally appear, so I suspect it was a case of a real vampire accidentally killing someone, and humans going in search of a cause and finding a terrifying corpse to blame.
